laughedatbytime
Above are two polls...who do you think will win, and who do you want to win? For me, I think the Astros will win, despite the fact that I want them to win. I think the Astros have a deeper lineup and they can match the Dodgers starters, and they have good bullpen depth (it's surprising to me that Hinch has lost so much faith in Devenski.) But I wouldn't give them more than about a 55% chance to do it (maybe not even more than 51%). I think (and hope) it will be a good exciting series.
goose
Had to go with not sure, as these teams are a great matchup. Go Dodgers!
HemiBeers
Evenly matched series and both teams haven't had a championship for years (or never in the case of the Astros). I'm routing for the Astros since they've never tasted a championship and that area of the country could use some lifting of spirits after the hurricane. As a huge fan of irony, it would be nice for Verlander to finally get a championship with his new team that he couldn't pick up after years with the Tigers. edhunter
Are they even still having a World Series this year? After my Yanks lost all the network execs committed mass suicide.

That doesn't mean they didn't have a big, throbbing boner at the possibility of thrm there. No one outside Houston cares about Houston. A lot of folks don't even realize they're in the American League now.

He had to entertain clients at the game in their skybox at Riverfront. That must have been frustrating, to have one of the most powerful offenses in baseball history in your presence, and not be able to see them that much.
