Up to age 17 or 18 I was almost exclusively handsexual. Extremely faithful in that regard

:P

I remember 18. That was a damn productive month. All down-hill from there.

Pansexual and proud

My daughter started referring to herself as this in 2010 if I recall correctly. Sometimes I HATE the way words change in meaning. A Great example is Gay. Back at the turn of the 19th Century into the 20th, it meant :

Definition of gay

1a :happily excited :merry

  • in a gay mood

b :keenly alive and exuberant :having or inducing high spirits

  • a bird's gay spring song

2a :bright, lively

  • gay sunny meadows

:brilliant in color

-From the Merriam-Webster Dictionary,From which the much later named Gay Community purloined the term to stand for their group of society. I STILL hate that. :madra:

 I used to watch his show waaaay back in the day.

There was an urban myth that Stephen Yan spoke unaccented English but ramped up his accent for the show.

Anyone remember the "my brother is here!" episode? Yikes!

(After going on about his brother being in the audience, the camera panned to a bemused Afro-Canadian. "Hi Brother!" Cue the laughs!)

fetishist

fet·ish·ist

/ˈfediSHist/

noun

- a person whose sexual desire or gratification is linked to an abnormal degree to a particular object, activity, part of the body, etc

Is it fair to say that men are more likely to have a sexual fetish(es) than women ?? .. Is it accurate to claim that men are more visual in what they like whereas women are more linked to emotions ??

Do these stereotypes paint men as selfish and shallow or women as colorless and bland ??

There are no rules, no guidelines and no black and white

Preconceived notions and expectations be damned

It's hard to say men are more visual when (possibly stereotypically) women seem more preoccupied with fashion and the appearance of cosmetics

"Is it fair to say that men are more likely to have a sexual fetish(es) than women ??"

no. in fact I'd wager that women are more inclined to have sexual fetishes than men.

".. Is it accurate to claim that men are more visual in what they like whereas women are more linked to emotions ??"

Yes. So obviously. Men are definitely more visually inclined when it comes to choosing a mate and this has absolutely nothing to do with social constructs (social constructs are so widely alleged in this era that it's truly become a rare case when a social construction is actually just that), stereotypes, or whatever you want to call it. When you boil it all down to it's most basic and simple form: guys seek fertility, gals seek security.

"Do these stereotypes paint men as selfish and shallow or women as colorless and bland ??"

uhh, to this one I'm gonna have to go with:

Might that be because their appearance is something they're heavily judged upon?

In men it's similar but different. They need to flaunt wealth more than they do looks. That's why they wear the expensive watch and suit... Or uh, Versace...

Yup, it definitely might be for that reason (I'm referring to the "heavily judged upon" bit).

To me, it's similar enough between men & women. And there are plenty enough men who are overly worried about their hair as much as women worried about their own. Past buddies of mine drowning themselves in an ocean's worth of cologne. Oh man was that worth endless ripping! :)

Trans gender people identify with the opposite gender.

Binary is a boundary that sets the limits for a gender.

Binary is a boundary that sets limits, yet you use the phrase "opposite gender".

I haven't done one of these in a while.

Thanks.

Oh BOOTS!

I am very impressed by this sexual pole. I mean poll.

Heterosexual.

Yet I find myself very happy being mesexual. Was in a good marriage for 19 years. It ended.

My last two years have been wonderful and free. Living for ME!

Of course I hope to find a life partner one last time on this big blue marble of ours.

If not, fukk it.

That's life.

I have my amazing daughters. I am very confident. I am very successful, I am a catch.

Luckily I believe in catch and release.

Perhaps one day I will marry my right hand.

It's cheaper.

Unfaithful. I'm sure you'd cheat with your left hand.
