We need your full attention once again and if we don't get it this man might just lose his cool and come looking for you...

qMlFFHq.jpg

He's serious about your votes and so are we.

Out of the 120 actors we've now got the 30 semi-finalists the top 10 from each of the three sections in round 1. Here's a recap of how the poll results went for the 30 qualifiers:

Group 1

1. Gene Hackman - 14

2. Morgan Freeman - 13

3. Kurt Russell - 10

4. Bill Murray - 10

5. Samuel L. Jackson - 10

6. Harvey Keitel - 9

7. Robert Mitchum - 6

7. Robert Shaw - 6

7. James Stewart - 6

7. John Hurt - 6

Ed Harris, Tommy Lee Jones and Alec Guinness also scored 6 votes in this group but after some deliberation JB and I agreed that they be eliminated in favour of Robert Shaw, Robert Mitchum, James Stewart and John Hurt.

Group 2

1. Jack Nicholson - 20

2. Paul Newman - 13

3. Christopher Lee - 11

3. Denzel Washington - 11

5. Anthony Hopkins - 10

6. Gary Oldman - 9

6. Robin Williams - 9

8. Jeff Bridges - 8

9. Charlton Heston - 7

10. Peter Cushing - 6

Group 3

1. Clint Eastwood - 22

2, Robert DeNiro - 19

3. Harrison Ford - 15

4. Al Pacino - 14

5. Tom Hanks - 9

6. Peter Sellers - 8

6. Dustin Hoffman - 8

8. Christopher Walken - 7

8. Robert Duvall - 7

10. Vincent Price - 6

In this round we're looking to find 8 finalists from the 30 semi-finalists, and you get to vote for 7 of your favourites or the 7 best in your opinion.

All you need to do now is vote...and run...

11 of my 15 picks from the first round are here. (vaportrailer, that's 73.33333%)

But it's going to be harder to choose 7 here.

Vincent Price just barely got the last few votes in the last round to make it here. I know that I was one of the last ones to vote for him there. Not sure if I'll vote for him again but it's good to see him still around.

And he are some pics from the first round

As you can see, Vincent survives the round and is seen here checking the corpses of Ray Liotta, Tom Berenger and Michael Keaton

.. and down the steps, Vincent moves right past William Hurt, Jeff Goldblum and Tom Hanks

He's no scheister looking guy like the one who played Tony Gazzo in Rocky 1 and 2 and who has been in four dozen other movies though only with 30 second roles. Now THAT guy is memorable! What's his name again? :P

Don't worry ALIEN GIRL is here now to the rescue, she'll restore order. :AlienSmiley:

I will?!

*Ahem* Yeah, of course I will.

Jack Nicholson, Schmack Nicholson...feh. Stop voting for that hack! He hasn't actually acted in a movie in years. Granted of all people suitable to be God of Hollywood, he's probably it. Nooooooooo...Hollywood is so much better than that. What am I saying, no it's not.

Who did I vote for?

John Hurt (Could portray the paper bag that Jack Nicholson can't act his way out of)

Gary Oldman

Paul Newman

Dustin Hoffman

Robert Mitchum

Tom Hanks

Jeff Bridges
