Yeah dude, we know. All you ever talk about is hoping for the recordings from 97 will be released. My guess is that it's not happening.

Move on to something new.

Would love to see footage from AFTK or Hemispheres tour... not sure if any is out there.

There's the official song videos and then footage from Pinkpop 79. Can't think of anything else from that period.

I live in hope that the full Exit Stage Left film turns up one day. What a setlist on that tour! Surely there must be reels of outtakes lying on a shelf somewhere?...

Rumors from around the time that the Passaic '76 footage surfaced were that the same club owner was sitting on AFTK tour footage and Hemispheres tour footage. Further, the AFTK footage was B&W (or the same greenish sepia-tone that's present on Grateful Dead footage from the same timeframe) and the Hemi-tour footage is in color.

This video hasn't surfaced though, and is apparently being closely held in hopes of a big payday.

How reliable is the info on the Hemi footage? I dare to even hope of '78 era footage beyond the three official videos.

A trader friend who has put a LOT of bootlegs into circulation has spoken with the former club manager who apparently has the footage.

Not sure if true or not, but rumor has it that the former owner of the Capitol Theatre in Passaic, N.J. where the shows took place, recorded virtually all shows within a given time frame. (I'm guessing mostly '70's, early '80's). Could be true, as when I go to Chiller Theatre (convention held in Parsippany, N.J.) I see tons of bootlegs from Capitol Theatre shows, roughly 1975-1982. Rush, and many other great bands, played there in 1977-78. Maybe 1980.

According to the record books Rush played the following gigs at the Capitol in Passaic:-

Dec 10th 1976 & Mar 12th 1977 - ATWAS Tour

Nov 25th 1977 - AFTK Tour

Jan 17th 1979 - Hemispheres Tour

Been to area record shows and I never seen any.

I would imagine the Chiller vendors are the same people but I should probably check to see if anything new has surfaced. I'm sure the 1976 Captiol show would be there although it's "official" now.
