treeduck
Mystic Rhythms not by a country mile but a whole f***ing COUNTRY, a continent!
Alien Girl
But, but I love both songs! I don't want to choose. Pfffft...fine. TBE just barely above MR. But just barely. And only because it's part of the perfect tryptic of The Enemy Within, TBE, and Kid Gloves that makes Grace Under Pressure so good. Mystic Rhythms though, there's something about that beat in the beginning. And I love the imagery of the lyrics. I totally get it.
Entre_Perpetuo
Hm...TBE is vastly underrated, but MR is both underrated and rarely mentioned. I prefer PoW over GuP, so I'll go with MR. Both are excellent though.
EagleMoon
The Body Electric by quite a lot. It's so different and a lot of fun to play. Great bass part.
Lorraine
The Body Electric is a power punch. Mystic Rhythm is okay but the monotony of the song is snooze-worthy.
vaportrailer
The rhythm of Mystic Rhythms is far from mystical.

TexMike
Body Electric, definitely. Took me a long time to appreciate it, but now it's among my favorite Rush tunes. Mystic Rhythms has been the opposite. Loved it early on, now think it's just ok.

Mystic Slipperman
Body Electric has grown on me, and it was KILLER to hear it live a few tours ago. That said, I've loved Mystic Rhythms ever since 1986. Part of its title wound up in my screenname.. no it's not my favorite Rush song but I dig it a LOT.

JohnnyBlaze
I'm going with MR. You?Aye, all day everyday.Their best video, as well. I thought so for a long time but over the years I've come to like the concert vids from Exit...Stage Left and the Moving Pictures studio vids more. Other than those, the Subdivisions vid would be way up there too.

laughedatbytime
I would have said MR until I saw TBE live on the CA tour.
Lorraine
I would have said MR until I saw TBE live on the CA tour.Isn't it something how seeing a song performed live often changes someone's previously held opinion? Think of the possibilities! Think of how many Speed of Love lovers we might have here if only Rush had performed it live! :codger:
