goose
Congrats to Germany's Kittel who earned a 5th stage win yesterday! I'm a bit sad for the break away leader, who led for over 203 KM only to be reeled in on the final 250 meters. Froom still has a slight lead overall (17 seconds?) for the yellow jersey. The Analog Grownup
I need to go see a doctor. My teeth hurt and I have closed eye visuals (mildly when my eyes are open) after I ride my bike and I even paced myself. Amazing what those Tour de France riders can accomplish! Ancient Ways
And Aru takes the yellow jersey as Froome drops 22 seconds in the final 300m of stage 12!20% grade frikin ridiculous. It was nuts!We have a place near Orlando called sugarloaf that is in the 13-15% range that I couldn't make it up w/o stopping last time I rode it. The pounding of the blood rushing in my head was deafening in my ears and I thought I was going to have a heart attack (I live in a very flat state so little experience with inclines). It's amazing what these guys can do.
alphseeker
I was pissed when Sagan was cast out but this stupid tour is crazy good. 8 riders within two minutes of each other. Quintana still has a shot.

The Analog Grownup
This years Tour de France is great. But when they attack Froome they better follow through and not throw it all away.
blackhawkrush
This years Tour de France is great. But when they attack Froome they better follow through and not throw it all away. They'd have to kill Kwiatkowski first and not let him fix Froome's bike. A world champion doing that kind of shit, I hope he gets his own team one day. :madra:

When Froome pulled over to the side of a road with a broken spoke, his guardian angel effected a wheel change in the blink of an eye.
alphseeker
Team Sky is a machine. Froome is looking better and better as the third week begins. That is the key to having a whole team, Aru cracked today because he has nobody around.
alphseeker
Well the TDF pretty much ended today with Sky neutralizing all the attacks and now Froome goes into Saturdays TT with a 23 second lead. He will crush Bardet in fact Landa may be able to overtake Bardet's podium position with a great TT

Ancient Ways
So, will Froome hold on and win it? His lead is what. 23 seconds? It's funny how it's the time trials that typically decide which climber will win the tour, not the mountains.

tangy
2017 was a good riding year. Explored alot deep in the woods. 18 new trails in 9 different areas. Most of which showed no sign of use for years. Edited January 2, 2018 by tangy
tangy
i cracked the frame on my rigid single speed so i got a new bike. still rigid but with gears. i can convert to a single speed if i want to. kind of liking the gears TBH i got a surly krampus. 29+ tires are a changer for riding rigid!
