Superconductor is a strong contender for worst Rush song ever.

The video is particularly bad, especially the faux concert footage with the cheesy looking chubby guy rocking out front and center.

[i am referring to a guy in the audience, not Alex (Alex wasn't chubby yet).]

Best: SDT, Presto, AL

Filler: Anagram, Hand Over Fist

Most of the tracks are very good, but the filler is rather fillery.

Also never understood the hate for Superconductor, other than that time they segued into it midway through Xanadu...

i don't hate Superconductor. just way to cheesy even for me, lol

sounds like a bad jingle for a battery commercial. Xana-conductor was a high crime.

Red Tide, Available Light and Scars top 3. A couple/few other good songs and then there's the rest...

Presto's thin sound bothers me a lot less than the more involved bigger more thought out songs on Roll The Bones. Everyone can do the easy thing and blame Rupert Hine but Geddy and Alex were the ones who chose to record both albums with dinky sounding guitars

Available Light is ridiculously good.

Scars and Warpaint never did much for me.

For me, the best production in the world wouldn't have helped Anagram or Hand Over Fist. I don't think either are terrible but I can skip them every time.

Top 3:

Presto

The Pass

Available Light

Filler: None, Since the poll would not let me vote for the top 3 unless I picked at least one filler I voted for Chain Lightning however. Picked it at random basically.

Love the production on this album. Other call it thin. I don't find it to be so. Rather I find that the songs have a wonderful space in them that allows them to breathe and I can savor every note and word.

Love the lyrics. Yes, its a bit of a fall off from Power Windows & HYF but Neil's lyrics were still consistently great. Unfortunately that very slight fall off was indicative of what was to come. But they are still wonderful.
