HemiBeers
Can't beat USA. England had me going until it was Tea instead of coffee. I didn't see the option for left-over cold pizza.

Funnily, having Filipino parents and after all my visits to Filipino relatives stateside and in the Philippines, I have NEVER EVER had lime juice for breakfast or even had it offered. From the list, I think I'd go with Thailand. The listing for Japan makes me smile as nobody here would ever just have tofu for breakfast. The typical J-breakfast would likely be one of these options:a) rice, fish, salad, miso soup, natto, tofub) toast (no jam, usually no butter either), fruit, yogurt & coffee [This morning I had yogurt with strawberry jam, a banana, some kiwi, 2 mini doughnuts, and a cafe latte.] I'd never choose any breakfast that contains eggs. goose
Last summer I fell in love with the full Irish breakfast. Coffee, toast, soda bread, fried eggs, sausage, ham, and black and brown blood puddings. No need for lunch after that. IwillchooseFreeWill
I wouldn't mind the English brekkie without the beans. But that's what's known as a "full English breakfast". Is that what the average Brit has for breakfast? Like how many Americans sit down to blueberry pancakes for breakfast on a normal basis? I prefer waffles myself. While the Vegemite on toast is an Aussie tradition, so are corn flakes or rice bubbles (Rice Krispies in the US). Aussies think all Americans eat the pancake brekkie because that's what they see in restaurants when they visit the US and then they wonder how it's possible. I'm trying to remember breakfasts in Japan. We stayed with a friend, so I guess we'd just hang out there in the mornings. I know we went to a grocery store and bought short, square loaves of bread and peanut butter and cartons of cold [iced] coffee. I remember getting up and having "temple sake", served warm and almost like boozy rice pudding, and was quite nice first thing in the morning, like an alcoholic breakfast. :hail: Got into the lime juice w/b'fasts in Cambodia. Absolutely refreshing. Perfect after a sweaty walk too. Limes rock.I'm with you re: eggs. Although a fried egg on rice can be therapeutic after a night of over-indulgence. Much like the mystical qualities that a good bowl of ramen (or pho) has. Can't find a pic of Dr. Strange eating soup so this will have to do: http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-H2uhOYP37_w/UGST9WraJaI/AAAAAAAACtQ/YjmXfaUVm4A/s320/Doctor+Strange.jpg
