you forgot the Feedback album.

If included, Crossroads is an easy winner.

I can understand including it or not including. The NOT including it side can just say "Well, it's not Lifeson's original material so it shouldn't be inlcuded."

Doesn't matter though really. We all know that nothing from the 21st century will win the final battle anyway.

I was gonna go HF, but I'll give the Garden the nod.

We need a new album to make it a clean 20!

That's easy: Use the tracks off Victor.

It IS Lifeson on there and it IS about finding TRF's favorite Lifeson solo after all.

That mess named Victor needs to stay far away from the Rush catalog. I would never be that desperate to hit 20. ;)

Hey you don't know that! :P

I think what I said right at the beginning will end up coming to pass, if you remember.

If the thread is 'TRFs favorite Lifeson solo' then Feedback indeed should be included. Many of the solos are not original and are Alex's interpretation. I'd rather listen to his Crossroads solo than any of the other synth era solos from the late 80s.

Then again I just like to point out to everyone that Feedback is like the smelly drunk uncle you'd rather not have at Thanksgiving dinner. But hey a relative is a relative.

Using that reasoning, Victor would be the eccentric cousin who's in town for a few days. He's kind of interesting but at the same time he's a bit too weird to get close to. He too smells but it's a peculiar scent you can't quite put your nose on...a mix of pet store food, pot, and iron. But yeah, a relative is a relative.

I'm not too fussed about that album. It'd lose anyway but I thought that this whole fandango was about Lifeson solos...and there ARE a whole mess of Lifeson solos on Victor
