What game(s) are you playing through right now?

Finally diving into the new Zelda. Wow, this is good.

It's so good, after about 40 hours, I waited another 40 hours of play time before beating the game. Then I played another 20 hours. I never do this with games. I still have a bunch of things I want to do in Hyrule.

I'm about 60 hours in and I haven't really done anything besides shrines, side quests, and farming shit for upgrades...and it's already an instant classic for me  It does what a lot of open world games fail at...it made the world interesting and doesn't hold your hand. I feel like I'm living in that world and not just chasing quest markers.

I was playing (and loving) Persona 5. Then I got distracted by Bloodborne.

I am playing (and loving) Dragon Age: Inquisition. But I really want Nier Automata.

What I actually need is a life

ME:2. Re-playing the trilogy before buying Andromeda. I figure this will give them time to get the bugs worked out. I'm on that super-annoying derelict reaver ship mission where if you're not super-extra-zealously careful you get overrun by husks. I'd almost rather pilot the Mako again. Almost.

KOTOR 2, second time around. Playing for dark side points. I did see there is a new HD mod on the way for the original KOTOR.

Right now, I'm playing Assassins Creed II....I might play through the entire Ezio saga again, as they are my favorite of the AC series. Edited by fraroc

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, Ultimate Edition

Or what they should've called it, "A game that is finally just about right after 5 years of tweaks yet still can't carry D2's jock".

I have a level 70 / 120ish paragon Barb running greater rifts and getting tons of rare gear now. I'll say this for sure: It's a lot easier to get legendaries in D3 than it was to get good uniques in D2.

Darkest Dungeon on pc. It's brilliant.

Oh man, I have that on Steam and played a bit more than 8 hours but ultimately could not recommend it. It's too hard and not in the challenging yet fair way. I wrote up a whole review on it as well:

I picked up D3 last winter and played pretty heavily for about 2 months. Played through a season. I had a Witch Doctor with about 1000 paragon. I enjoyed it but got bored with it quickly. The difference for me was that I had lots of friends who played D2 so it was a social thing. I didn't know anyone who played D3.

The grind with D3 is not in finding legendary's and/or set pieces. That's easy. Farming the billions of mats you need to reroll them into the right stats is the part that sucks Most every one I found had the wrong stats for the character I was playing and I would have to reroll it a couple hundred times to try and get the best stats. Season ended before I really got all my gear where I wanted it.

I've been addicted to Dragon Quest Builders for about a week now. I didn't have anything I felt like playing so I looked through my kid's games and was like all right, I'll try this...five hours later I hadn't moved off the couch.

Kerbal Space Program:

It's a rather intriguing but really fun game.

Basically your in charge of a fictional space program employed by a race of green humanoid aliens known as "Kerbals"

you can build and test your own spacecraft, aircraft, space stations, planetary bases the whole shebang.

or you can just watch them all crash and blow up.

It's absolute shenanigans.

Going to get stuck into The Last of Us Remastered for now.

What did you think of it? I'm a big Naughty Dog fan but not sure I can take to it, regardless of the ginormous praise it receives.

One of the best games I've ever played, without a doubt, with a terrific story and truly great characters. Personally, I don't think it requires a sequel, cos I thought the ending was perfect, but I've no doubt I'll play it anyway.

I've been playing some Elite Dangerous and a bit of Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, but they're both going to have to take a back seat as I'm just making a start on the XCOM 2 expansion, War of the Chosen. That's me sorted for the next few weeks!

I heard some saying The Lost Legacy was a bit of a letdown. I guess it would be in comparison to the main series. LMK how you get on with that eventually as well. I will get around to PS4 gen prob by the end of next year. Have so much to catch up on for now.
