Alex says the record company is working on a 40th anniversary set similar to the 2112 set. Hopefully there will be the unreleased stuff.

I hope they dont do the covers thing again

I am only interested in a good surround mix of the album, there's already one done, but I didn't see any positive review about it.

God for bid this is just a repackage grab job.

I can see it now they'll give you Previous released material .

audio Blu-ray and the bonus disc from different stages and another remastered copy of the album.

And some memorabilia. And of course the vinyl version of the album.

To commemorate the 40 years since it's release perhaps a copy of the album in every format during it's initial release (cassette/8-track/vinyl) and a DAT copy and HD disc for the super deluxe version

just joshin' I'm not as peeved as some here about the Deluxe 2112, so I say bring it on and I'll decide on a case by case basis. The medley of By-tor and The Necromancer would be very welcomed by me. I know it wasn't part of the AFTK set but it was played in '77 and that tail end of the ATWAS tour with those pre-release Xanadues and the aforementioned medley, were very cool.

Hopefully, the new record company intern will find a better quality bootleg since it's unlikely the band will be opening up their vaults for this

Whatever they release, I am sure that I'll be sucked right in and will buy the "super deluxe" version along with the poster and all.

It happens every time. I just can't help it.

Sure you can help it.

And think about this: Geddy, Alex, and Neil won't even have any control over the product itself. This is a fact that's been noted somewhere out there.

I hope there's some vault stuff. That was sorely missing from the 40th anniversary 2112, as there was just two outtakes from ATWAS and "The Twilight Zone" from the D.C 1977 bootleg, which was off-pitch.

I'm disappointed they didn't do stuff like this for the 40th anniversaries of Rush, Fly By Night, and Caress of Steel. They had deluxe vinyl editions but no additional material, which is disappointing, a bit of extra live stuff (like the radio broadcasts, or maybe a mythical COS official show) would be nice.

We know that there was almost zilch studio outtakes from their albums so hoping for live stuff from the era is about the only thing i would like to see.I also want a key ring with a court jester on it.

I like how specific you are---the all important key ring with court jester on it

;)
