The Rush Backstage Club now has a good looking limited edition Rush R40 LA Forum poster for sale. It is 18" X 24" and there are 500 numbered ones. It's a pretty reasonable $ 24.99. I think the colors are really pretty! (I kept thinking, how can this be new? I own one, as do some other TRFers. But what they sold last year was the same poster, initialed by the artist. Gotta love the ways they come up with new editions. ;) ) So if you missed that one, it's back !! :D

I have the Snakes & Arrows Tour - Time Machine Tour and Clockwork Angels Tour (2 versions) posters. + a home made Rush poster. That is good enough for me...

I was at the LA show, so the poster is better than good enough. :P

Wow, the backstage club site is down. Service not available!

Oh no! I hope it comes back up soon. That would be a nice souvenir, since you were actually at the show with the gang! :)

My order was placed before it went down. The site wasn't available for almost 20 minutes, but now they're back. All is good.

Don't know if the size was the same, but they required 50 bucks at the show.

WTH! Paid more than that for this poster at the show. My friend and i got one of the last ones available that night, or so we thought, guess its not so special anymore, blerg.

What's being offered is kind of a watered down version of that. I'm pretty sure you have the higher grade lithograph instead of just the poster copy.they reproduced.

My poster arrived yesterday. I had a notice in the letterbox to pick it up at the customhouse, about 15 km away. I drove there, went into the office and they said that they need to see the invoice for the poster. Of course I didn't have one and I never own a smartphone, so I had to drive home to print that f***in' invoice. Today I went back to the office (another 30 km total), and they told me that I have to pay € 8,64 tax, for importing a poster from Canada! I laughed my ass off and went effing and blinding. Fookin' greedy bastards. :bang bang:

Anyway the poster is fantastic and now it needs to be framed by wood. No. 306/500 :dweez: :7up:

It was well worth the wait and all the hassle, so thanks again for your original post.

I was surprised at how thick and heavy the paper really is. Great quality and a very special reminder.

I keep toying with idea of getting the replica first gig poster from 8/14/74 as the left bookend, but I keep getting put off by the photo they used which was from a later era. Not into replicas as a rule but I likely would make an exception if the right photo was used for the '74 poster.

The replica poster is only $ 5.75 (inc. shipping!) on Amazon right now if you want to go hog wild! I got one for the laundry room which is where my "regular" posters go. Makes folding laundry easier!

Thanks but it's the principle of thing. Looking at a wrong picture would keep bothering me so it's not worth having it around. Glad you like yours though.

Shoulda had it shipped via DHL. That way the invoice would've been on the package from the beginning, as well as the duties taken care of.
