I don´t really listen to any of these two albums. These two are the albums I listen to least with Rush. But Working Man got awesome guitar, and you just wanna head bang to it. While The Garden makes me cry because its so beautiful. So it´s a hard pick.

Not a fan of either album. But CA is more acceptable to me, I just can't stand their debut, it's not real Rush. On CA it was toss-up between the title track and The Garden, I went with a title track.

"Not real Rush"?

It's not a cover band.

It's early Rush.

Peart didn't join The Not Real Rush band. He joined Rush.

It was not real Rush, it was the Led Zeppelin tribute band. For me a real band Rush exist from the album Fly by Night (1975) till today! Period.

As I said, Peart joined Rush. It doesn't matter what you THINK they were. They were IN FACT Rush before him.

Lifeson + Lee + Peart = RUSH.

Yeah, that's without a doubt their most important lineup.

But this did happen:

I prefer the debut by miles, having spent countless hours listening to it back in the day. But of all the songs from the two albums, the title track from C&A is the one I like most right now.

Hard to compare, as it's nearly 40-45 years of writing and life experience between them .

The debut rocks hard and has a youthful innocence.

Clockwork is mature and poignant, but still rips your head off in places.

I love them both for different reasons, but I voted for CA and The Garden. Favorite off the debut is probably Finding My Way .

Please don't take this the wrong way but... Piss Off

:LMAO:

What the hell are you talking about? I wasn't even talking to you.

This is a debut album vs CA thread. There's nothing in here by anyone even remotely negative.

What happened to this guy from just half an hour ago? :

Hello All

I have been a complete dickhead I am sorry.

I never wish to offend or upset anyone.

I am an addict, an alcoholic

But I do have a great love of Rush. I was a nerdy kid in the late 70's when Rush were seriously un cool and Punk Rock was the thing

I sat in my bedroom and learned Spirit of Radio on my guitar around 1980

Isnt it great when you are proved right

Rush are just sub zero now on the cool scale

Steve

Did you get your alters confused or something?

I AM guessing that you're an alter [as some other TRFer suggested in another thread] who's just playing around. Anything else would be disturbing.

oh come on...

Steve, JB is one of the nicest folks on this forum. We know you're having a rough day, but this is absurd.

Maybe you should step away from the computer until you get your perspective back.
