ReRushed
But Back in Black transcends its creators and its fanbase. It's one of "those" albums. Yeah, it is one of "those" albums, viz. it is the best-selling rock album of all time(second-best selling in general after Thriller), it is one of the best marketed rock albums, it is one of the most OVERPRODUCED rock albums, it is one of the most overexposed rock albums to the worldwide public and it is an album which contains two songs that are well-known to the 80% of the world's population. The album Rocks doesn't come close to this statistics of BiB.How is it overproduced? Sure, it's overplayed and overexposed. But the songs are good. Really good.

Half the songs are some of the greatest and most essential rock songs ever written and played, while the other half sound just as menacing and exciting with maybe a little less finesse. The production was groundbreaking at the time and still sounds heavy, clean, sharp, and minimal to my ears. It's kind of the perfect balance between studio sheen and raw power...sheen power if you will. Plus Brian's voice on that record is astonishing and perfect. Vocalists like that don't come around all too often. I really have no qualms with Back In Black, and it's never disappointed me.

OK, I get what you said but I think BiB can't come nowhere close to Rocks.
goose
Back in the sadlle >>>>>>>> Back in BlackRocks >>>>>>> Back in Black Back in Black is so fu**ing overhyped album and Back in Black is so fu**ing overhyped and overused song! And Rocks is one stellar album. 'Nuff said."Overhyped"? Not only OVERHYPED, but also the most commercial album in the rock history. Also laughable. Do you know how many copies sold BiB in the US alone and how many worldwide?Yes. I didn't think you meant best-selling when you used the word "commercial". Did you?

All the keyboards and layered vocals and guitars, I guess. :eyeroll:
