Solaris Blueraven, Neil Peart, Michael Mosbach And Mind Control ( WTF ? )

I have never heard anything about this situation before, and I've never seen it mentioned here ..

 

It is absolutely insane, and seems like Neil's worst nightmare ...

 

I cannot begin to explain it, but in a nutshell, a clairvoyant named Solaris Blueraven ( real name: Catriona Montieth ) claims to have sent Neil her book "Transmutation Through Ascension" around 2004, and within days, through remote surveillance, Neil and Michael Mosbach began controlling her mind ..

 

It only gets more bizarre after that ..

 

I found a link to a PDF file of the restraining order Mosbach took out on Ms Blueraven ..

 

As preposterous as this is, it is fascinating in a very perverse way because it involves the band we all love, and hearing this woman drag them into this delusional fantasy ( Geddy and Alex were involved in the mind control for a short time ) is nothing short of entertaining ..

Too bad she couldn't use her power to heal that cold sore.

Maybe she should switch to Scientology - they apparently heal all kinds of cold sores with the awesome power of Diuretics or whatever it's called. Or she should switch to decaf.

Neil Peart, master of psychotronic programming! Wow.

She has quite an imagination, you have to give her that, but is as crazy as a bag of hammers.

Yes I vaguely remember this a while back. And people wonder why famous people are a little more concerned with their privacy and safety. People are weird,sometimes, why they can't just respect people for just being a person, foibles, frailties etc. Purely anecdotal, but I have bumped into famous people and purposely ignored the fact they are known, just carried on without any acknowledgement at all.

 

This person deserved the action taken, you know there is a fruitful life out there, many things to do, with not much time. Scary stuff.

Thoughts:

I couldn't stop watching the video, although it made me uncomfortable. Earnest crazy people tend to do that to a person.

The interviewer did a commendable job in keeping a straight face.

I want to read her multi-dimensional poetry.

Never, ever trust clairvoyants who play the flute.

This woman has a better imagination than KJ Anderson.

I used to work overnights at a residential mental health facility. It'd be a pretty intimidating place (due to some of the more disturbed residents) if you had no experience going into the job. Luckily, I had a few years under my belt at that point so it wasn't too bad. One night, one of the paranoid schizophrenics approached my supervisor (and friend) Dave and I. The client went on and on about how she couldn't sleep because of the light coming in through her window. She claimed it was the Bat signal. Me being a comic guy and Dave being an even geekier comic guy with a real hard on for Batman, we somehow managed to keep straight-faced and professional. Dave simply told her something like, "Yes, that is troublesome. Try closing the blinds and closing your eyes. These two things will definitely block out most if not all of any incoming light. Whatever the source. Try that first and we'll go from there if it continues to be a troublesome." The woman looked at him wide-eyed and said, "Okay. I hope it works." Then she scurried off to her room. After she left, we both started laughing...not in any negative or condescending way but because it was the Bat signal! I said mockingly to Dave, "Close your (her) eyes?! f**k." He goes, "Hey, it worked! I know what I'm doing!" :LOL: Then he added, "I wish it were the Bat signal!" :LOL:

 

We didn't hear from her for the rest of the night. So either she fell asleep with no worries or The Bat swooped in and took her out. :blaze:

Sometimes those nuts, ahem, the severely mentally ill really take dangerous turns for the worse, and it's incredibly serious. Luckily it's not more common or we'd lose a lot more stars to these really severely psychotic stalker types. Dimebag was killed onstage by a guy who thought that Pantera stole lyrics from his mind. Chris Cornell has been dealing with a stalker with erotomanic delusions who has threatened his wife and young children. Zahn passed away a few years ago, but his YouTube channels remain as a fascinating and disturbing look at the life of a homeless paranoid schizophrenic.
