5.

I can't be objective with this one... it was the first Rush album I purchased. (Moving Pictures would have been first but all my friends had it!)

I loved Subdivisions of course, but when I heard Analog Kid and Digital Man that sealed the deal.

Favorite 3 songs? those three :)

4 stars. Not quite as good as what came before it. It was a big change in sound for them.

Analog Kid

Subdivisions

Digital Man

Four stars at least for me; if Rush started here I might give it five

This^^^. Great post. I had originally voted 5 stars but this makes more sense...

Sorry, I can only give it 3. Subdivisions and Analog are fabulous tracks right out of the gate, but there's not a whole lot else that I strongly connect with. Digital Man has great musicianship, but I'm not a fan of the vocal melody. I like NWM in spite of the pop flavor, but it fades out of the ending jam too soon. For me, both P/G and PoW are stronger and more consistent albums than Signals. Edited by TexMike

5 stars. It's my favorite album, plus I tried to duplicate Neil's Peart high-hat beat on "Subdivisions." Top 3 tracks: Subdivisions, Losing It, and Countdown.

I'll give it four; a couple of months ago I might have said three, but I'm liking it more lately. My perspective about this album has changed a number of times over the years, though. To say it's weaker than the run from 1976-'81 is not to say it's weak, at all...very strong album.
