Halloween did and still does terrify me. I still have Michael Meyers nightmares...thanks a lot to my older sister for letting/making me watch it alone when I was 10. *shivers *

Halloween 3 on the other hand...f***ing rawks!! Weird. Bizarre. Terrible acting. Terrible writing. Terrible effects. Unintentionally hilarious. Love this movie with 80's porn stash guy hamming it up as the doctor turned detective banging the coked up community theater wannabe actress with big hair. Awesome. Add in some veteran Shakespearean thespian that got suckered / in debt enough to be in this glimmering turd...add a dash of Stonehenge and head crushing androids and you have a CLASSIC "wtf was this about?" piece of cinema where everyone involved in the production was cranked out of their minds. Love it.

Just when you think that Halloween III is this great little piece of entertaining kitsch, it throws some nasty curveball at you like . . .

Well, if you've seen it, you know the one really creepy scene, or the one with

the kid by the TV dying in front of his parents

HAHAHAHAHA!! I love your post!!!! Nancy Loomis is the bitch ex wife in Halloween III. Also in "13" and of course in "Halloween" and "The Fog."

Halloween III was directed by Tommy Lee Wallace but the entire "Halloween" and "Halloween II" were in charge of production, wardrobe and casting.

John's woman Debra Hill was also a big part of "Halloween III."

Tom Atkins is also in "The Fog."

I think the casting is AMAZING!

I love when Billy gets zapped in the head.

It's such a great movie. It's a 9/10. It would be a 10 but I hate the time zone issue.

Acting is priceless.

Come on!! Conal Cochran RULES!!!!

Dan O'Herlihy is a wonderful actor!!!!

Hellraiser didn't scare me at all...

Hellraiser put me to sleep.

What about the song Hellraiser?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4EQytY_QiM

So funny.

Great minds think alike. Sorry duck. I posted before seeing your thread. Of course Motorhead wrote the song and also recorded it.

I have both albums. I think the Ozzy version is better though, it just seems to suit his vocal style better than Lemmy's.

Zoe is at Disneyland with her boyfriend. I'm home alone with my pug Earl IV. Yes, it's true, I am Earl III.

So funny enough I am cranking the Halloween III soundtrack.

One of the greatest of all times.

I love that many of you hate Halloween III the movie.

It will always be my TOP 2 film of all time.

My number one film of all time is "HALLOWEEN!"

Yes,

I can get over the fact that Michael didn't have to be in III.

John never wanted to do a damn sequel anyway.

John hated writing Halloween II.

John wanted to write a different themed Halloween movie every other year. To be different.

Sadly it was all a Michael Myers cash grab.

Halloween IV and V are ok with Loomis and the little girl but after that all crap.

Rob Zombie's visions are pure shit. Although McDowell as Loomis was brilliant.

As for the new "Halloween" film written by John but not directed by him I am excited.

I will pay to see that one in the theater.

I sure wish John did the soundtrack.

I doubt it.

"Halloween III" is the most underrated movie ever made.

I am sooooo sorry many of you on one little Forum don't get it.

Don't worry...

You are not alone.

I love being alone.

Ciao

So if Halloween 3 is your "TOP 2 film of all time", what's #1?

Halloween 1?

Behind the Green Door?

Love it Lucas! Still creeps me out to this day. "Halloween III" is genius. Sadly no one gets it. Their loss.

III is like no other movie ever .. It stands on its own and is an absolute classic - I love it

You said it all my friend! Haters may say it's too far fetched, over the top cheese, but my God, it's one of the most creative screenplays ever and the soundtrack alone is FIVE STARS.

Listening to it now!

"Assault On Precinct 13" rules too! I've never seen a film where a thug on an ice cream truck shoots a little girl in a white dress while eating an ice cream cone in cold blood. Brutal.

"Cold blood." Now that is a bad pun.

Cold Blood is actually a very cool band. Punny........

Earl, you are right on .. III throws things at you that are totally unique .. They could have just rehashed the same old story but it was great .... There are a lot of forgotten and neglected horror films from that era

Curtains - that was great too !!
