Mr. Not
I was walking on a nature trail with a pothead when I came to a halt, without word. He took a couple extra steps before he froze and said, "uh oh, look out!" and pointed to a spider web which only consisted of two strings, but spanned across the nature trail. It wasn't anything which would block the trail's way, I stopped for another reason. I noticed the spider was there on the ground of the trail. It was a black widow, but four or five times the size they normally are. I still didn't say a word and just looked at the queen spider. When the pothead noticed she was there he was just a foot's length away from it. He screamed and sprinted back to the direction we came from, "let's lock ourselves in the car dude!!" I continued to stand still and observe the black widow, when all of the sudden some small creature came out of the bushes to my right hand side. The black widow jolted over to it and began devouring it the second it revealed itself."Alright, safe to keep walking" I thought, so I took a couple more steps. Suddenly the two strings of the spider web turned into four long spider legs each, and, what a surprise, it was a giant orb weaver spider. His body was pretty average sized, but his legs were incredibly long, each one spanning quite a bit longer than the trail's width. I didn't actually see the thing land on the trail, it was still in mid air when I decided to turn around and run. As I was fleeing I thought to myself that I wouldn't be coming back to this nature trail because it would be too dangerous for me to walk it with my eyes closed. There were too many hazards on the trail so I'd need to keep my eyes open at all times. The stoner and I left the national park safely and drove to a deli to eat. We discussed what we had just saw while we were eating on an outside table. Three women who were walking nearby overheard me say, "something something something (I forget what I was saying) LUL". They were impressed by my lingo and went out of their way to sit by us at the table. As we all talked I often repeated "LUL" and it made them swoon (as it should be). The end. JohnnyBlaze
I asked this once before on here a few years ago and I'm asking again. Can anyone else here fly in their dreams?I remember you asking before and I answered then too. I've flown a handful of times. At best, I could fly like Superman. At worst, I could kind of float and barely control the speed and direction...kind of like squirming around in thick mud. The flying dreams were always really pleasurable except that floating one. But even that one wasn't bad. Sadly, I haven't had a flying dream in years.
Brucey
I decided to go for a walk outside in the dark in my dressing gown, I heard a knock on the door just as I was about to begin. It was my mum, asking why I was going for a walk at this time and in my odd choice of clothing. I told her that she regularly does the same thing, then she left me alone. I suddenly decided to sit in the back seat of her car instead. Just as shut the door, an old friend of mine appeared out of nowhere, smiling at me with a teddy bear gun in hand. I tried to scream and get out of the car but couldn't, and then I woke up. :-)

Since I was a little girl I could fly in my dreams. Float too. I used to do that when I wanted to end my dream.
OldRUSHfan
I only remember a PART of a dream I had this week.....I was standing in the entrance to my Kitchen area, and some kind of dark colored animal was heading from the bedrooms towards me, and I mistook it, at first, as my Kitty Sophie. So I called to 'her', and it turned out to be a cat sized RAT that raced over to me.... http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Banana%20World/Bat%20banana%20sm.gif I figgerd you'd get off on that! [now put that sock in your laundry Hamper. http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Banana%20World/banana%20skipping%20rope.gif Edited October 14, 2016 by OldRUSHfan

JohnnyBlaze
A couple of dreams last night... (1) Triumph reunited and entered the studio to re-record "Fight the Good Fight". The musicianship was fine BUT Rik Emmett just couldn't sing those high notes. He was giving it his best go but it just wasn't happening. I was in the control booth but it was hard to watch/listen to. Felt bad for them. [surely, this dream was the result of the news of Rik's upcoming album]. (2) Some friend of mine was about to go to sleep in his sleeping bag but I noticed that there were these tiny, thumb-sized rat looking things hopping in and around his bag. A couple dozen of them. We inspected more closely and realized they were baby ferrets that for some reason were hopping around like kangaroo.[Not sure what the hell that was about or what instigated it.] Edited October 16, 2016 by JohnnyBlaze

OldRUSHfan
another 'partial' even smaller than the last one. I was in an office 'cubicle style' area and someone handed me a jet black computer keyboard...that's all I remember, but I do remember a similar situation on last Friday's episode of "MacGyver".... http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Banana%20World/banana%20screaming.gif

Mr. Not
Dreamt I had an incredible winter vacation, full of new locations, new faces, and one familiar one :) In other news I have a winter vacation on the horizon Were they all faces you recognized outside of dreamland? There's a factoid I've seen around which says that you can't dream of faces you've never seen before, and I'm not sure I buy that, but I can't disprove it through my own experience. I've read some arguments around the web and when people claim that they have dreamed about unknown faces, a common refutation is that "yeah but these faces are very vague an low on detail" -- maybe that's just the dreamer not being able to recall the face well through memory. When I recall dreams the three things I remember most are the story-lines, emotions, and dialogue. The images are always vague unless they were frightening, I re-imagine the scary shit pretty vividly :D
Mr. Not
Shit I can't remember, it was really good though, I was annoyed when I woke up, tried desperately to get in the dream again. That's been happening to me every night since I last reported a dream in here. I might go for the dream journaling approach and see if it works for me, I've never tried it. I find that the best way for me to remember a dream is to simply not oversleep - and I've been sleeping in a lot lately...

JohnnyBlaze
A couple of dreams... (1) I was in a zombie apocalypse scenario (of course) and holed up in a mansion. I had fortified it pretty well and by the time the zombies rocked up I wasn't all that scared. (2) Some movie trailer starring this smart looking Latino chick that looked like a younger version of Halle Berry. Her name was ((and I wrote it down immediately when I woke up)) Mylie Logue. WTF?!! Who?!!!
JohnnyBlaze
I was adjusting a high jump bar for a local competition. That is all. Should look that meaning up but I've never had any interest in the sport so I think I can assume what it means.
Verena
I usually dream a lot and remember. My dreams are adventurous in a good way.Or a connected to some daily activity or places my mind creates to visit. There was a time I dreamt a lot about animals, the wood and the sea. My artworks always has been about dreams I had + nature landscapes I see on my path, going somewhere far. I'm not reminding my dreams lately.Sometimes I have this 'stop' mode.
