I have the entire Halloween franchise, including the remakes, but never once have I watched the third one.

That's crazy!! I want you to watch it and then give me a quick review!!

Michael Myers ain't in it! :o

Nope! No Michael! Grab some popcorn and be prepared to get gored out!!

You must check it out!

Total cheese, but I found humor in it back in the day. Hardly a movie worth a discussion.

This movie is really worth a discussion!

Let's talk I mean type about it!

Far fetched brilliance!

The soundtrack is one of the greatest period.

"Halloween III" is my second favorite movie of all time.

Second to "Halloween."

My third favorite movie of all time is "The Nightmare Before Christmas."

Guess I'm pretty easy to figure out.

Pun intended.......

Steve Moore from Zombi is also a brilliant soundtrack composer.

John Carpenter Jr.

Check out the new hour move "The Mind's Eye." The soundtrack is so Carpenter!!!!

It will BLOW YOUR MIND!!!

Very "SCANNERS!"

Finally a solid horror movie.

There is so much crap in the world.

"Halloween III" is so wonderful.

Glad 99% of the world can't relate.

John Carpenter never wanted to do a sequel.

The powers that be put a gun to his head to make "Halloween II." Granted I love that soundtrack too.

But even John said...

"I need a pack of smokes and a six pack of beer every night to write that screenplay."

Truth be told John wanted to write a different "Halloween" Themed movie every other year.

So in reality "Halloween III Season Of The Witch" should have been "Halloween II."

But everyone in the the galaxy wanted Michael Myers to return except for John Carpenter!!!!

Now John is sick of the way his independent blockbuster went haywire!

Fuckking stupid Rob Zombie really ruined the franchise.

So hoping John will go for the gusto in his new vision.

Funny.

Before I knew John was working on a new "Halloween" picture, I asked him right to his face as he signed my "Halloween" lp.

"So John, do you have another horror movie in you?"

John turned to me and said.....

"Well yes I do!"

I was wearing my "Hemispheres" shirt.

I said....

"So John, do you like RUSH?"

He looked at my shirt and said.....

"I sure do......"

Carpenter Rules.

So does Tommy Lee Wallace.

It gets a bad rap, but it's better than any of the sequels that came after it.

I really love Halloween H20...granted...it was the first one I saw and I was like ten years old...it still freaks me out!

The original? Not so much...

H20 was cool because they finally knocked off Jamie Lee Curtis. LL Cool was was ok too.

I liked 4 and 5 because of Donald Pleasance. The rest are all crap!

I still think the same. It's not very good, but still my second favorite Halloween film to the first. I'm honestly just not too big on slashers like the Halloween or Friday The 13th series..

Child's Play/Chucky or Nightmare on Elm Street however? I do like those franchises.

I've only seen Halloween 3 once so I'll watch it again sometime this month. Thanks Earl :eyeroll:

Never a truer word spoken amigo!

Hahaha! I picked your stupid Beagles too! Oh well, my Raiders are shitting the bed at home on a soggy field.

Cheers buddy!!!!

It's the "SEASON OF THE BITCH!"

Sounds like a new SAXON album title.

Awesome! Watch it again!!

I would recommend that you find the latest release of "Halloween III." Lot's of extras! Interviews and documentary.

It's the most underrated horror film on the planet.

Although far fetched it will always be my second favorite film period.

Like, how did they really steal a stone from Stonehenge?

"The Thing" (sorry) that really bothers me about "Halloween III" is the time zone change issue.

So.....

The movie takes place in California. The Big Giveaway is at 9:00 pm. That mean it would go on at midnight on the East Coast? Most kids would be asleep by then and miss the show.

Does no compute.

Damn, I love Halloween III .. It's like The Elder - this unappreciated, one of a kind misfire bastard child that compares to nothing ..

I mean, name one other film that is similar ??

ONE OF A KIND

LIKE THE BLADE OF SWORD I AM FORGED IN FLAMES

FIERY HOT

f**k it, I think I'll wear a pink headband when I watch the Halloween III special edition whenever it arrives from Amazon

I watched it as a kid and it never scared me.

Honestly all these horror fans tell me these seventies films are terrifying and dark and scary...ten year old me stayed up late to listen to annoying synths and get bored rotten.

Seriously...none of his films scare me at all. I find more horror in The Deer Hunter to be honest. And that is really damaging.

Now...Dario Argento's Suspiria and a few Japanese horrors on the other hand...

But don't get me wrong I enjoy John Carpenters movies. They don't scare me at all but I like his style. Halloween III is one of the weirdest movies I have ever seen and I loved it.

But yeah...I didn't even find the exorcist or the shining scary.

And after events in my late teens where I was faced with death quite regularly and was beaten to a pulp on several occasions and sent to hospital...I am afraid it all seems quite silly compared to real life. Victims don't really get a chance to scream like that.

But I tend to shy away from horror anyway as it can trigger panic attacks because of what I went through.

Back on topic...West Craven I love.

Hahahaha!!! Love the comparison to "The Elder." I love that record. A progressive pop rock masterpiece.

Smart man buying the latest version of "Halloween III." It's awesome!

Wow! You are a rare breed man.

I just watched "The Mind's Eye" on blu-ray last night. It's like "Scanners" with a John Carpenter soundtrack. The composer is Steve Moore from the two piece band ZOMBI.

It's all of that synth stuff like the Carpenter soundtracks. You might hate it Myles, but I LOVE IT!!!!!

"The Deer Hunter" is a high stress war movie of terror.

Wes Craven rules. RIP

You should check out "Hellraiser." Clive Barker is fantastic.

Also go explore all the early David Cronenberg films.

Funny thing is he acts in "Night Breed." Another campy classic.

"The Shining" rules man.

Do you like "A Clockwork Orange?"

A masterpiece.
