I don't have burgers very often but onion rings, tomatoes, chili peppers, mustard and stuff like this would be the way to go.

I don't have them very often either...though I could have them once a week and not get bored. How often you get them? I think I've had two burgers in the last 6 months.

How did the ecoli get there? :o

Throughout the night the little ecoli fairy bastard sprinkles ecoli on lettuce as he hops from produce department rooftop to produce department rooftop.

I just eat what i like and if i feel ill I put it down to the weather. I don't feel ill though, I put that down to just eating what I want.

It depends on the burger:

Black bean burgers are good with just some lettuce and tomato - or ketchup

Beef or buffalo burgers are great with onions chopped up and put right in the meat .. Lettuce, tomato and avocado are great

See, that's how diabolical the little ecoli fairy bastard is -- he's tricked you into thinking that you're ill due to some other reason when it's actually his evil at work!

We'll be fine, me and the ecoli. :codger:

It's early but I'm surprised there isn't a vote for avocado. It's not my first choice but it is good stuff.

Ever have a rice burger (rice is used for the bun instead of bread)? Saw something recently where it's becoming more of a trend in North America. It's been a normal thing out here for a long time. It's okay but I'm never satisfied with them. It's not filling enough. And the rice will crumble (slightly to a lot) no matter how toasted or grilled it is.

They're heaven on Earth with an onion slice... medium rare with mustard'd be nice.

I like mine with lettuce and tomato

Heinz 57 and french fried potatoes

Big kosher pickle and a cold draught beer

I only like the onions when they're sauteed, and "other" for me is often BBQ sauce.

Oh, and my burgers don't contain animal :D

Then they aren't burgers. They're an amalgamation of vegetable matter, and likely tastes as one would expect.

I myself, use Swiss cheese, and either mayonnaise or Miracle Whip, depending on my mood.

Common man here. Typically just the basics. Tomato, catsup, sometimes lettuce and if I have bacon, cheddar cheese is acceptable... Edited by Narps

I used to as a kid. Not anymore though.

Something that is kind of gross is how some people drown their burger in ketchup, mayo, mustard, sauces, molten lava, or whatever! A little is ok with me but too much and you can't taste the burger. Let it breathe for Pete's sake! The burger needs to be face to face with the lettuce, tomato, or whatever vegetable and not painted with liquid condiments.

Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo, cheese, bacon, jalapeños. Gotta have jalapeños.

Yeah? I pretty much have jalapeños in the form of jalapeño poppers, in sauces or chili, in pho, or with nachos. I wouldn't order them on a pizza but I'm not going to boot them off the slice if they're already there.

I usually turn it into a condiment bomb but nothing weird. Usually everything above but I avoid avocado, mayo, eggs, hot peppers, i.e. the unconventional toppings. My boy is the same as I was at his age...cheese and ketchup. There's a new meat market in our area that actually grinds bacon in with the hamburger. Yummy, but I don't want to ask what the fat content is. Edited by HemiBeers
