What Fast Foods Restaurants Do You Dislike

Recommended Posts

^^^ What is that, Ducky? Is there a connection between Marie Osmond and fast food joints that I don't know about?

I'm sure she eats at one.

I always do this stuff anyway. So some snitch is grassing me up to the guards eh? :smoke:

If you don't like Wendy's and Burger King then you just don't like fast food at all.

Buffalo wild wings is fast food? Chicken wings should not be served fast. That is not the proper way to cook them.

No, I saw this new topic and it looked interesting, so I entered. Sometimes I look at and respond to topics just like normal folk.

I don't like ANY fast food joints. They make their stuff from offal scraped off the floor of the abattoir. They don't like to waste anything. It's not a good idea to eat it, especially regularly.

Burger King food, much like McDonald's, tastes fake to me. Wendy's seems much better. Their salads and chicken are pretty good.

I think there are two levels of fast food. There are the quick and dirty joints like McD's and BK and KFC and Taco Bell that are pure fast food with drive up windows, and then there are the chain restaurants like Buffalo Wild Wings and Applebee's and TGIFridays and Outback that are more of a sit-down place, but much of the food is prepared off-premises. Those places should never be confused with a respectable restaurant.

I didn't realize that about Applebee's, etc. (Olive Garden falls in there, too) until a friend's wife got a job being a "chef" at Olive Garden. She quit after not too long because mostly she over saw cooking the pastas and opening bags of all the sauces they use that were prepared elsewhere and shipped in. There was nothing wrong going on there, but she wanted to actually cook more.

Anything that isn't Jack in the Box, I dislike

"Listen punks! Jack's employees have been working their buns off to make the best burger, shakes, and fries around!"

I had the absolute worst fast food experience ever at a Jack In The Box. It was some years ago, and I can't believe they're still in business.

During brief moments of insanity I stop at BK or McDonalds just to remind myself how dreadful the food is.

LIttle Ceasars pizza is just as bad. I'd rather eat a frozen Jacks pizza knowing I saved a couple of bucks.

We don't have those in this country and you'd be hard pressed to prove your statement.

There isn't really a fast food I don't like completely, but there are definitely some things that each place serves that I won't eat.

I rarely eat fast food because, like almost all restaurant food or anything that's processed ahead of time (think TV dinners, or other frozen meals in your grocer's freezer), it's not very good for you. My favorite burger at Jack-in-The-Box has more than 900 calories. Add fries and their version of a small drink, and you're well into the four digit calorie range. Maybe once a year I do that.

Also there's always the chance that whoever made it took a dump moments before preparing it and didn't wash their hands. Or sneezed over it or dropped some of it and so on...

True enough, but also true for anywhere that prepares food out of sight of the customers.
