Favorite Candy

Recommended Posts

Let's see, I usually try to go off the predictable path since I like variety.

Mallo cups

100000 dollar bar

carmello - those are the absolute best for caramel plus milk chocolate

heath or skol toffee

I tried a new version of butterfinger last week that was like a reese's cup, but filled with softer butterfinger filing....pretty damn good.

If it's chocolate, I'll try it at one point or another. My wife likes the fruity sour crap.

If you can't read the small print, it says "They hibernate in your colon"

Agree. Depends on the brand you get. If you get Haribo, they are very good.

Ryan's Steak House.... Outside of Clemson there was a Ryan's steak house.. I believe it's a chain mainly in the south. We would go there once a week, and for like $9 you got a steak, potato, salad bar and dessert bar. We'd always fill up, and on the way out, I'd grab a handful of gummy bears from the dessert bar (scooped into my hand) and eat them on the way out. That handful of gummy bears would push me to my limit, and would always make me feel WAY too full. I still got them every time.

There used to bed a brand from here in America called "AMAZIN' FRUIT" gummy animals, and they were TO DIE FOR! They were SOOOOO flavor-ful that you could smell 'em through the pastic bag they were packaged in! I get the kind The Swiss Colony mail order outfit sell now, sugar free type, and they're almost as good....

My favorite candy bar is:

Hershey's SKOR is TONS BETTER than Heath, as far as I'm concerned! Lorraine and I have THE BEST Candy bar for our Favorite though, 5th Avenue!!!!!! http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j223/OldRUSHfan/Food%20-Cooking/YUMMY1.gif

I also like the Mars Almond Bar, and I know the one over in Europe is different from the one sold in the States.....There used to be a bar called IIRC, "Pyramid". it was peanut butter mixed with powdered grains and covered in Milk Chocolate back in the late '70s early to mid '80s, but only in the Vending Machines at our Ford Plant. Never found them outside of there......supposed to be 'Healthy-er' than 'regular' candy bars.....

Yeah, Ryan's is/was in the south & Midwest. Don't know these days since it's been a good 25 years since I've been. I, also, used to go all the time back in high school for that steak/potato/salad/buffet 9 buck deal. I remember the gummi bears too...though I skipped those and opted for bloating on fried chicken drumsticks. That fried chicken was like candy!

Turn in your human card immediately !! ;) ;) ;) Let's hope you are addicted to pizza, nachos, and Starbucks; otherwise I will be worried about you. . . .:) :)

Hershey-ets. Which are a really stupid, but tasty, M & M's imitation, with little H's on them instead of M's. My best friend's mom worked in a bakery/candy shop and used to get them at a big discount for slumber parties. We would eat pounds of them and, not surprisingly, stay up all night.

Speaking of coffee, I don't remember too many teens when I was teen liking coffee. But for whatever reason, it seems that many MANY teens are packing down the stuff
