It's projected to hit $500 million (domestic sales) in its first ten days. It seems that the director and writers are rewriting much of the screenplay, as the popularity of the new characters was so unexpected. This could mean less screen time for the "old characters". Really the new highlight of the film, score wise. Who was your favorite character? I find it interesting how many people have chosen characters other than Luke - the principle hero of the story. My favorite was Luke all the way, and sometimes I think I'm in the minority...... IMO, once the first 3 played out, you realize that Anakin is the "hero." I love "the son saving the father" stories. It took him about 20 years, but Anakin did eventually bring "balance to the Force", as the Prophecy said he would. Of course, it was a "zero sum" kind of balance.
