I have much Rush-y stuff to catch up on!

Let me help you catch up...

- Some people think Neil is supposed to tell us exactly what he's going to do from here on out

- Some people are excited about the upcoming R40 DVD, some are complaining about it

- There have been polls posted where you can choose your favourite song!

- There have been insults tossed about concerning members here

- Rush may or may not go back into the studio in the future

;)

So in other words....status quo!

Welcome back, dear Mara!

Hope most of what transpired is water under the bridge, and it is now healing time for all concerned. :hug2:

Thanks. :hug2:

It's still kind of roller coastery. I know I am better off cutting a narcissist out of my life, but I still often find myself missing him something fierce. Or rather, I miss who he was pretending to be.

But I smile and laugh a LOT more now, even though it's only been a week. I am much more engaged and I know, rather than simply hope, that it will get easier.

It will get easier. I've been through an awful lot in my life, and have found there is much truth in the saying that time heals all wounds, or at least makes wounds you thought unbearable, more bearable. Every day, it hurts a little less than the day before.

If you need to laugh and smile, you are in the right place - The Rush Forum.   Where all TrueRushFans hobnob and clobber one another over the head hoping their music opinion reigns supreme.      :tempted:

Did she fall into a hole or did she get abducted by aliens?

I'm bummed I never got a chance to ask Mara if she thought Permanent Waves was a 70's or 80's album... If anyone would know for sure, she would.

That's probably why she is no longer here. She's devoting time in search of a definitive answer to such a soul-searing question.

Permanent Waves is a 1980 album. ;) Straddling the decades.

Life is good. I lost 240 lbs of ugly fat (i.e., I got a divorce) and am now with a wonderful man who I have known for the past two years. Last concert was Muse in June of last year; my guy got me two tickets in the pit, no less. He's not a Rush fan - in fact, he's not really into music at all (weird, I know)! But he is sweet and thoughtful and overheard me saying to a friend how much I wanted to see Muse. So for my birthday that year, he got tickets with the caveat that he didn't want to go, but please take a friend who I would have fun with.

Kinda missed this place. On my lunch break so decided to pay a visit. My computer remembered my login, fortunately!

I know this thread is about a lady named "Mara", but after seeing a post about being new in posting, I would say a little something, which is I think this website looks familiar. I haven't, and didn't post anything before. I've started posting recently, so I've been doing that on, and in threads.
