Maybe he thinks that those unused tickets are worth $500.

On a similar note...if anyone wants to see them in Jackson, Mississippi, on the Moving Pictures tour on April 15th, 1981, I can set you up. I have an extra. :)

(Actually, on second thought, forget I said that. I wouldn't even sell it for $500).

Those probably aren't unused tickets. It looks like the bar code that's scanned on it has been blacked out. I'm guessing that since it may have been their last tour, someone is trying to see if they can make money off a fan who wants it. It makes no sense though unless you lost your ticket to the show. Not exactly casting a wide net here in terms of who would be interested in that.

Even if I could have them for free, it would feel weird to own tickets to a concert that I didn't attend. Not sure why anyone else would want to either unless it was a show that was somehow historic. Like say L.A. 8/1/15 if it does turn out to be the last Rush show.

I think it would be cool to do that only if you were trying to make a scrapbook and looking for a ticket stub to every concert Rush ever played. Now that would be a hell of a challenge for someone out there (not me :P ).

If the Rush company compiled a collection like that, can you imagine what they would charge for it?

So did it actually sell or did he just canceled the item?

Perhaps we tipped the seller off to the fact that the show was in the past and thus item was cancelled.
