It was electric in the hall that night - my friend and I both thought it was one of the best concerts we'd ever seen. Though I also said that after Tampa too. This tour was stellar.

I would say night two in Toronto was their best performance. I guess me being there probably had something to do with that :D

The band sounded great at every show going by the periscope feeds I saw. If this is the end of touring for them, they sure as hell went out as strong as ever live.

Johnny, have you watched all of shows before you came to this conclusion?

I've heard from a few people now how good the Philly show was.

Yea, as much as is available.. The Philly show is just electric and the playing in spot on.

I haven't watched the other shows, but Kansas City was the one I went to and it was great. Neil looked happy on multiple occasions and Alex was the happiest guy on earth during the second set. Geddy's voice sounded good after the week break.

I was at the Newark show and felt it was just amazing, crowd and band on fire and fueling each each other. This was a Rush tour for the ages and everyone probably thinks shows they were at are 'the best'. All 34 were no doubt fantastic..no need to split hairs over levels of concert perfection.

I definitely think Philly has some of the wildest fans. I've seen Montreal and Winnipeg be just as crazy. Even at the CA tour show, everyone was going nuts. There were even some joints being lit on the floor during the show.

I was at Bristow, Philly, Newark and MSG. I recall posting after the Philly show that Philly was phlawless. They were on fire. After the issues at Bristow, timing was awesome. The Newark crowd was intense. At MSG, I had the straight ahead view from across the rink, similar to the Cygnus light show video someone posted in the LA periscope thread. The light show from that section, for Cygnus and MMB, was mesmerizing.

the most interesting part of the tour for me in person was the DEW train wreck in Bristow. They were not all in the same verse so they replayed it until they were able to work thru it. I recall yelling, wait that's not how the song goes! Also, Neil missed the main fill in Nat Sci. As we later found out, he was under the weather. Also, the electric acoustic mix up on CTTH in NJ.

Funny how I enjoyed the misadventures as much as the perfection!

I remember something happened in the second drum break in The Anarchist and I saw a drum stick fly forward and bounce off the stage, almost as if it was threw like a tomahawk, and in 2012 I remember Alex's guitar stuff broke down and was fixed literally just before the solo in YYZ. Then, a couple months later in Atlantic city, the keyboards were messed up for a couple seconds in Subdivisions, and I also recall guitar problems during YYZ that night, so I've seen my fair share of errors during the shows.

I have done a pretty detailed rummage through the Youtube Videos and the Philly gig, IMO, is the most electric and also their best performance.

And the After-Party was killer!

I saw the opening night and St. Louis the following week. St. Louis was killer. The music was louder and they nailed pretty much everything.

The periscope was much appreciated. It was great thanks Elk Man

I remember EagleMoon thought my comment stating you sound like an "elk calling his bitch" low class. I knew you'd get it.

Yepper! I long for the smell of acorns and tarsal glands! Just a few more months. Bow season here opens in late September and then heading to Idaho for muley's in October.

Just leave me alone from September to February!
