Imbalance in the R40 alternating set lists

Assuming it's the full Camera Eye, some get 10+ min of music

Others get YYZ plus Natural Science (12+ min)

Others get just Red Barchetta (6 min)

Seems like the RB sets could have had another song thrown in for good measure (maybe Limelight).

Reminds me of the CA tour where before they evened things out, the encores were widely discrepant in terms of quantity.

Then again, I was at the MSG show, so I got Losing It, so, ya know...

I've never felt cheated at a Rush show.

God, had I gotten Dreamline instead of Manhattan Project on CA tour... oh yeah, cheated big time.

I was never sure why they didn't do Manhattan Project every show-- it's supposed to have strings.

Dreamline, Manhattan Project, Tai Shan, Dog Years.....doesn't matter to me. I was always just glad I had the opportunity to see them again.

It would be wrong of me to feel cheated, but I saw the A setlist and B setlist of the CA Tour, and still missed out of Manhattan Project and Middletown Dreams.

But one of those was for the DVD filming, and they randomly played Dreamline in place of MP, but I got to see the only show they ever played 10 songs form an album. (I love the album, so I greatly enjoyed it).

And they pretty much gave up on Middletown in the last part of the tour, so I got a Limelight show.

I would have loved to have seen Middletown. I'm in Pittsburgh so I caught that show, but was strongly considering driving to the Cleveland show months later *just* to see MD since it was slated to get that setlist. But then they started messing with the rotations, so it wasn't entirely clear who was getting what. Ended up not going and of course yep, Cleveland got MD

Middletown was a vocal struggle.

Definitely, but Limelight was no picnic either.

If this is the worst of your problems today....

Yeah, no one asked for your snarky opinion. KThnxbye

Actually you did ask by posting on a forum

No, I do not recall asking him for a douchey comment whose sole purpose was to belittle me for making a simple observation.

Gotta love the usual TRF act of jumping on anyone who dares to express something that isn't fellating the band and worshipping the ground they walk on.

What I don't get is why not play between the wheels, camera eye and natural science which I think is their best work live by them and leave distant early warning, subdivisions and the whole first part of the show for the afterlife. They have so much awesome and inspiring work to go out with a bang hence Manhatten Project, The mission, Middletown, and losing it every night. Not to bitch, but I was actually put off by knowing I was not going to hear between the wheels mid-set. Damm spoil alert. Edited by metalmatt

Then apparently you don't get what the Internet and message boards are about. We comment on what you post. You have decided it was douchey but that's just your opinion not fact. Quit crying or go home.

I certainly felt hard done by when I got dreamline instead of Manhattan, but I was equally releaved I got Middletown and not the dreaded limelight.
