Lorraine...live it's so amazing. Up close, it's otherworldly

Yes, indeed! Especially with 18,000 people standing and singing along to it!

This is tough for me. Usually, there is a song or two each tour that I'm like "Huh. How'd I miss that one?" For instance, on the VT tour, it was Between Sun & Moon and Bravado. But this time around, the song choices were mostly so right up my alley, I already appreciate them plenty.

There is RTB, but that's more about the video than any change in my appreciation of the music. Animate I wasn't wild about, and I'm still not wild about it.

So, no, I guess this tour really didn't change my appreciation for any of the songs.

Did they really do that? That must have been magnificent! That's a moment that should be captured on film and included in the official R40 DVD!

Everyone was singing around me at my shows too. Pretty much the entire second set.

Thinking again at the quastion asked, I could easily answer "all of them, including the ones they haven't played in this tour!"

I would have been too choked up to sing along. Every time I would have opened up my mouth to sing, I would have started crying.

Definitely lots of emotion there but for me it was more of a wow factor rather than anything else. Amazing, I can't believe I'm hearing this stuff again, the lasers are gorgeous etc.

Cygnus x-1....because it's instrumental and we don't have to deal with the screaming hysterics of the lyrics.

Much better as an instrumental, I think.

Really? Wow.

Yeah. The vocals and storyline never did it for me, to be honest. But the music is amazing!

I'm just surprised because it's like second favorite song ever from them after Xanadu. I think it's perfect. :)

Musically amazing, for sure. It eclipsed Book II as a performance this tour. And Book II was brilliant.

I would appreciate it much more if it were remixed and remastered better. I think the songs sound much better in concert than they do on the album except for the vocals. My biggest gripe about CA is the production. I like a lot of the songs, that's not really in question.

I have a greater appreciation of Xanadu, great gal, I met her in Vegas.

OH, THE SONG....Always thought the song kicked ass

:ebert:

He definitely appreciated me more after he heard the guy sitting right behind us mention how much he paid for his ticket. :o

Did you get the deal of a lifetime or what, DS? ;)

Deal of a lifetime indeed!!

And great company for sure!

What'd he pay and for what kind of seat?

Well let's just say I charged him only face value (with fees and all it was about $200). The guy sitting behind us said, "I think these seats were totally worth $600".

We were on the Alex side, upper level second section from the stage but not too far so we had a great view.

I think if you can't afford first row, where you sat is the next best place.

You're going to LA too, right? You lucky gal! Have the best time ever, and commit each and every moment of that night to memory.

Yeah, I just decided to go about two and a half weeks ago. So I know it is going to be a blast and I will cherish all my Rush memories, though I still am not convinced that this is the absolute last show (shut up, Bard :P ).

And thanks! :)
