This is such a great Tour. I think its the Tour most RUSH fans have been waiting for. I believe it deserves a second leg. I think it will happen but not in the usual way. I think they will take the rest of the Winter off. Release the live DVD/CD around the holidays then Announce the 2nd leg of the Tour in support of the live album. Then start touring again in April of 2016. I think RUSH fans everywhere deserve to see this tour. Anyway those are my thoughts on it. What do you guys think about it?

They wouldn't add leg 2 after they put out the live album. They'd lose money if they did that.

Why would you say that? The Exit Stage Left Tour was one of their best Tours ever. Believe me they didn't lose any money there and they Wouldn't here. All of the UK, Europe and South America are just dying to see this Tour. This R40 Tour couldn't lose $$$ if it tried.

I guess not but I figure they would think putting out a DVD would remove the incentive for some to see the show if they can just buy the DVD. But given this tour's level of amazing, it may not have any effect

Nah....the prospect of seeing them on what is being considered "the last tour" in support of a live album is good enough for continued ell outs.....

My point Exactly, All these things just reinforce the desire to go see them live. Nothing Captures the thrill and magic that these guys have live. Specially this tour! This ( :finbar: ) is there best Tour Ever. It has it all! Including Losing It from time to time! :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

Someone pointed out SnA did exactly that, tour, live album/DVD, tour leg 2. If they would add a second leg (pigs fly tour?) they'd hold off on the blue ray. As far as losing money, R40 grossed $24 million on their first 22 shows, and that's with an average ticket price of $85. I've been looking up and down secondary (and ticketmaster sites), nothing online for anything close to $85 on the eastern part of the tour.

My point is, this tour is in the stratosphere monetarily for Rush, and the tickets, if the $85 average is correct, were way underpriced, according to the resale market, where lower bowls were minimum $300 on the resale market.

I'd love for Rush to do a second leg featuring some less tapped markets. Like here in Australia or over in Asia. Surely, there's regions of America and Europe they are yet to tap but should. I want to see this Setlist, especially B or C with the special song. No idea who would be with them on said song (hope I didn't give much away), anywhere that's not in America (except maybe Johnny Dinklage). But I mean, come on, why should we miss out on Rush forever when both Americas and Europe have had such awesome experiences. Please, God, let Rush come to Australia and Asia so thst we can have this experience. I'm not trying to come off as an over-entitled young guy here, but really, I want to see Rush, and I have nowhere near enough money to travel. To just have em here with any SETLIST, even if they played Tai Shan and The Speed of Love six times each and that was it, I wouldn't mind. Just to have seen Rush... :(

Not sure about the exclusive TS and SOL set list but man I admire your passion. Hope they extend the tour to a city near you!

I kid of course, none of us would enjoy that as much as we are this tour. Hope they extend it, but they aren't going to come to Australia anyway, so it wouldn't really matter much

"putting out a DVD would remove the incentive for some to see the show if they can just buy the DVD" Are you serious! No way can a DVD replace the experience of seeing them live if at all possible.

I don't know about the release of the live CD or DVD but I do think if a second leg is coming it would be spring of 2016...that is the way it has gone in the past.

Actually, they did not release the Snakes And Arrows DVD before the tour was over. They released the live audio recording after the first leg, but the DVD did not come out until after the second.

you are correct, because the DVD included tunes recorded on the 2nd leg.
