Holy hell, I just realize it's almost 1:00 a.m. And I'm not even on the east coast! Last Rush shows + spotty scoopers could be rough. Edited by TexMike

How am I supposed to get to sleep after that show?! I think it was better than Tulsa. Neil was in a particularly silly mood. During What You're Doin Alex started yelling into Geddy's mic and made Geddy crack up and miss a word or two. Then he tried to do it again and Geddy took his hand off his bass and put it next to his eyes as a blinder so he could continue singing.

Oh, for the people that were saying the Vancouver crowds were boring, I didn't experience that. Everyone around me was into the show. And looking around I saw people standing even in the side sections.

WOW!!! The boys were on fire tonight and threw down hit after hit. Amazing show.

In the first set a guy beside me asked me to stop singing because it's distracting him. Then he told me I should stop air drumming and air guitaring because I was in his space. During the intermission he said nobody should ever buy 5 or more shirts at a single concert. Second set, 8-10 people in the three rows around me (including myself) were standing up and rocking out. This guy left during Jacobs Ladder. Why go if your just going to complain about everything.

It was a fun show, better than other Vancouver concerts I've attended. The lower bowl and floor were standing all night, and the upper bowl rose to applaud the band after most songs. Great night.

Row 8 - zoomed in "a little"

Nice! Closest I've gotten was row 15 in Austin. It's amazing how visceral the drums are at that range. I can only imagine row 8!

Alot also depends on venue. 18th row in Bristow was much closer than 18th at Jones Beach (Ged has even said at Jones years ago 'wow you guys are far back there'). 11th at the Pru this tour was packed in tight, pretty close. Some venues pack in those rows!

I believe the mini-trainwreck for DEW was that the intro synth-effect didn't sound at the beginning and Alex sort of clipped out, not knowing the song had started...then Alex was mouthing around "Am I off?" A tech came up behind him and helped fix...he wasn't off, I think his in-ear monitor got unplugged from his rear waist/belt, but all the while he played and could be heard, just not by himself. Neil was yelling at Gump too

Losing It got a massive applause....Geddy was just spot on, I didn't cringe once.

Show was awesome, everybody was in INCREDIBLY fine form! Geddy sounded great, as good as I've heard him since S&A tour, and Alex slayed all of his solos.

The setlist was incredible, and the surprise appearance by Ben Mink was just perfect.

Personal highlight for me was sitting beside a couple young "rockers" who you could just tell were going to be the obnoxious type. Luckily, they had about four beers each before the show started, and apparently can't handle their alcohol, as they were asleep passed out for at least 20 of the songs haha.
