Excellent, thank you. Any idea what the symbol is, that red flag thing on the right?

Husband says it is an Atlanta Falcons (NFL football) team pennant ?? It's a little hard to see. Thought maybe it would be a Braves one with Ged's interest in baseball but their pennant looks nothing like the picture . . .

The car sculpture for Lincoln is "carhenge", which is a Stonehenge-like sculpture somebody did in rural Nebraska using old cars. Yes, I have seen it.

They may want to check their geography though, as this is located near Alliance, which is several hundred miles away on the other side of the state.

Thank you! I have been wondering about that one- both about what it represented and why that would be special??!! The Carhenge thing seems cool!! Gotta love the arts!!

I can only guess what Salt Lake City will be...."Spend the Night in Zion" :laughing guy: These are cool, thanks for posting them. Why is poor Lerxst on crutches???

I have been wondering the same thing about Alex! We lived in Salt Lake City for a short time about 20 yrs ago. The joke then was that everyone made green jello- they could put a big bowl of that in the intro video - although there is so much actual beautiful scenery around!

Yeah we had a green jello pin during the 2002 Olympics that sold real well. :laughing guy: I made the joke about Zion (from a Rush song of course) and because Neil loves to travel through our state on his bike with all the parks in the southern part of the state. I am just so excited they are coming here, July seems so far away! :dweez: :yay:

I guess it's passable since Lincoln was the only Nebraska show.

I was going to say it looks like an angry bird like from that game other people play.

Edit: yup that is it the Big Chicken.

I can't remember Atlanta, but Greensboro was along the line of "Our bbq is better."

What was the symbol/landmark? Do you remember? Haven't seen a video of the intro from Greensbro yet.

And it correlates with the slogan. Nice detective work!

Thanks. I do this for a living; taking bits and pieces of data and finding other information that fits together to give the big picture.

Images of the shows that I've attended:

Very impressive that TRFers figured out the 'Big Chicken' and the giant Dresser! Rush and/or crew really must have had a lot of fun finding these weird, outdoor kitschy iconic things that they put in each video. I was thinking about that and thinking that just 'water towers' for Austin and 'space launch' for Houston couldn't be quite right. (have too much time on my hands today due to rain!) My daughter Megan looked at the Houston photo and immediately said "Oh, that's a saxophone." WTF?? But it is- A giant saxophone sculpture! And the Austin water tower is a very specific one, the 'watermelon' water tower- - -

So, what was on Bristow's intro video last night? What was the phase and what was the symbol? Inquiring minds want to know. Edited by edwardv2

Unfortunately with the crazy parking situation and traffic with Jiffy Lube I got in just as Anarchist was starting so missed the intro film but probably wouldn't have been able to make it out from my area regardless. I do love how obsessive we are about this band that even a minor thing like this we are keep track of.
