What do you WISH you were eating right now?

LABT, give Gino a ring and tell him to start a Gino's West. :)

I don't know if there's a market for Chicago style pizza outside of Chicago. There is an Aurelio's in the Twin Cities but for Chicago style that's all we have around here, I'd be calling him for one here if it would do any good.

You're in Seattle, right?

You're probably out of luck then. At least you have a Rocky Rococo's...those are good though nowhere near a really good Chicago style pizza. I knew when one of the first things that came up was Papa Murphy's you were probably SOL.

I never heard of a "take and bake" pizza place until I came out here. I thought it was a joke, but they actually exist. It astounded me that anyone would go to a pizza place and pay ten dollars for a pizza they had to come home and back themselves.

They're not even cheaper (or better) than the chain pizza places (well, maybe Little Caesar's Diarrhea Emporium).

What's that other thing there? Looks like some something in a giant mushroom cap.

It is. It's from Applebees. Here's the description.

Chunky Roma pepper relish is piled over our 7 oz. sirloin. Served with red potatoes and a grilled portobello mushroom cap stuffed with a creamy artichoke cheese spread.

Oh yeah,

Nothing like a stuffed Portabella/Portabello. I hear it pronounced both ways. :ebert:

Troutman's thread has me craving some spicy Asian food with lots of beef, very strong onions, and that hot chili oil.

Too bad you're in Britain.

You're not eating / shopping in the right places. Spicy Asian food is really easy to find in Britain especially in large cities or areas with a big ethnic population. Birmingham ticks both those boxes I would have thought.

Perfect companion to the sometimes mundane, "What are you eating right now?" I'll get things started

I'm going to regret asking this, but... what is it?

Looks like a couple hashbrown burgers.

Upon closer look, I think you're right.

Yeah, it looks like hashbrowns, egg, sausage and cheese.

It looks disgusting even though I love all those things. Just not in one congealed fried mess.

That looks like what they would pull out of your arteries after you ate it.

A gooey hunk of Sicilian pizza.

Good call. For me, though, it's Chicago style pizza. Preferably from Gino's East.

You know you can have Gino's East shipped to you, right? Just go on line and order it.
