Del_Duio
Haven't had that one yet haha. Dell - Dooie - OH I suppose. Made it up about 25 years ago at a Maine Bowling Alley (them's new-fangled electronic score things asked for our names to display up on the wall and that was mine).
Del_Duio
Here's another old one that was / is supposed to have been featured prominently in a game I've been on and off making for almost 8 years called Hasslevania 2. If nothing else, I have the song. It's about the 17+ year life cycle of the cicada, insects I used to see all the time as a little kid in the midwest growing up. If you can get past the singing, the music is decent enough. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQPULqvMf6c Lyrics to sing along to: I. Into the sky Up in the skyWay up highDodging the trees so we don't die Look at that spotIt's goodMan, I don't feel so goodLanding to lay our eggsNow why can't we feel our legs?! II. Under the earth It's soft and warm and cozyFar below the groundIt's where we're living- Darkness, safe and soundBut now it's time! The egg just hatched!Squirming larval soup: "We eat and sleep and sleep and eat and poop" III. Perchance to poop (instrumental) IV. To the Surface The years have passedThis life half-assedIt's almost time to riseTime to leave this soil most dispisedWe dig and dig, it takes foreverWill we stop? NEVER!!The coldness grips our exoskeletonsOur life now begins! V. The Courting of Bug Bitches It's lonely out hereWhere's all my friends?Climbing on fence posts? Splitting their skins?I feel strange, I'm starting to molt Now I have wings, but where do I go?I'd impress the big bitches, but I ain't got the dough..Well, here comes one nowWHATTA YA KNOW?! I impressed the bug bitches! VI. Into the Sun The deed is doneIt's time to runFlying off into the sun These wings are newTo go unused? What do we do?What do we do?! Falling fasterCrashing downLike a bullet towards the groundA LIVING BULLET TOWARDS THE GROUND!! VII. Into the sky (reprise) Up in the skyWay up highDodging the trees so we won't die Look at that spotIt's goodMan, I don't feel so goodLanding to lay our eggsWhy can't we feel...? Funny. Musically interesting as always. Do you record 2 vocal tracks always? I can see the progression of the music, in terms of the time span you've been making the tunes. I love this progressive crazy stuff. Man. Was Les Claypool your sperm donor? His influence, along with many others, is very obvious. However, you have your own style, and slant. By the way, the Cicada's here were off the chains crazy in Goatnut, TN. It sounded like a martian invasion (whatever that sounds like). Ok now the song is over. Damn man. No one else would sound right singing your music--that's for sure! Edited April 29, 2015 by Tombstone Mountain
Del_Duio
No, not always but my favorite band is Midnight Oil so I love backup vocals and attempts at harmony when possible. I seriously have like 20 or 30 more Booger Myers Band songs that aren't up on the internet yet. Most are very different from each other, you might not even know it's the same person doing them. I'll probably make another video in the next week to make use of the green screen again. I just don't know which song to use yet. I have one with a drum solo that actually came out OK except for one part of the singing that's shrill even by my standards and that part's hard to listen to. Otherwise, it's extremely different and I think uses a 3 part vocal line. The drums are good at least LOL.

I can tell yer loving that green screen. This song was a lot of fun. Lyrically very deep--perhaps your magnum opus...just kidding, the "Ode to Goatnut" fills that slot!
Del_Duio
I seriously threw this together in like 2 hours from start to edit to finish, it would be helpful if I had a friggin' camerman to say "HEY YOU DOPE, WE'RE ZOOMED IN TOO MUCH I CAN'T SEE YOUR HEAD!" I have some game programming to work on this weekend but I might try and do another one too. I just have to choose which one, I have too many so it makes it hard.

To me, it sounds like it's sung by someone who needs to hang up a 'SINGER WANTED' flyer at Guitar Center I swear that's gotta' be the hardest part of writing any song. Eh, well unless you're Dream Theater maybe. The Ray 34 was such a good buy, I can't say enough good things about it. It might be low on the 9V battery though, I gotta' change it out soon.
