Calling it now

They're opening the 2nd set with all of Permanent Waves. 36 minutes of music that would probably take up only a third of the second set. Three of the six songs are confirmed from the tourbook, Free Will and Entre Nous never had rear screen video productions.

They're gonna do it. I'm calling it. Right. Now.

That would be awesome. Their best album IMHO. I was hoping they would do 'Different Strings' on the last tour to no avail. Hopefully they've drawn it out and will allow Alex to really shred that solo.

I'd walk to Seattle for that too.

A while back, maybe right after CA tour, someone here said that Rush peeks in here to get ideas for their set lists. Judging from the alleged set list for this tour, I think not.

I have thought this was possible for awhile now. Different Strings would be an awesome lead in to Natural Science.

You should start a "Disgusted with Rush Appreciation Society" with GeminiRising79.

I get that they're playing the newer stuff 'cause they haven't played the hell out of it unlike most of their early catalog.

But gosh, it's R40, right?

A little bit more diversity, boys. :)

I hope you are right, but all signs point to Tom Sawyer as opening 2nd set.

Heheheh, you're a smart Girl! The last thing the guys want/need is more input on their setlists. It's a big enough PITA as it is. The old adage that comes to mind: Too many cooks...

I don't think they look here at all at anything.

It must just be a Rush Old Wives's Tale.

What tour did Geddy video everyone? Was it Time Machine?

If so, I wonder, if this is the end of the line for Rush, if he will do that same at each R40 venue.
