  1. 1. What is(are) the worst song(s) on Clockwork Angels?

Let's close the poll...Bu2B2 will win, and nothing is really deserving off this album. There's only one other song on this album that I don't actively seek out, and that's 7CoG...and that's almost completely because of the singing.

Mick

Reach down, grab your sack and say that...BU2B kickes ass holmes

it's whiny and pathetic, lol

Mick

Power Windows was a few days ago. This is friggin muscular rock. Pussies need not apply, and can bask in synths if they want to.

Man, when i listen to the album my jaw drops at the fact that every song kicks ass, and that's what I've wanted from Rush--ass kicking, slamming tunes. I got that with this album. You guys want the same old same old. Well, funk that. This is not Rush of 40 years ago--thank you

I don't think it's a matter of wanting the Rush of 40 years ago but more a matter of wanting good songwriting and album production. That never changes, no matter what decade it is.

I forgot how delightfully annnoying CA fans are.......i'm having 2012 flashbacks.

Mick

I live with the annoying synth fans every day. You can deal with CA fans once every 3 years. But I forgot, you're scared of guitars and rock and roll, so CA and its fans must scare the bejesus out of you.

I am still a huge fan of this whole album, despite many members' growing dislike towards it. I don't mind the production and I think the vocals are handled very skillfully considering Ged's current abilities. Not to mention the songwriting is classic, the lyrics are focused and epic, the music rocks its butt off most of the time, the ballads are excellent, and this is certainly their greatest album since PoW and possibly their most classic since MP. I voted for BU2B2, since it makes sense contextually, but musically doesn't really have much purpose. I could've also voted for Wish Them Well, but I decided to cut the album some slack and only vote once. Everything else is awesome.

:goodone: times 10000000000000000

It's got 5 all time great songs on it.

This I can agree with even if i don't like the way its produced. The two ballads (all-time awesome) and The Anarchist, Headlong Flight and Caravan are excellent songs....

Headlong Flight is a top five Rush song dude. It's got EVERYTHING. The mere fact these guys dug deep and pulled this song off at their age gives me hope that I'll be crackin' toes and bangin' hos well into my 70's

I thought the adjective "excellent" spoke for itself. It would never get anywhere near my top 5 however...

All in good fun. It just blows my mind that you are unable to enjoy this album. For me it's like listening to Number of the Beast back in 5th grade. It just doesn't get old

I get a very similar feeling when I try to listen to CA as I did when I first heard the original Vapor Trails. The sonic frequencies between the guitar and bass are overlapping and it sounds like a wall of noise. Any good producer should catch and fix that. The drums are also not as clear as they should be because of this.
