Rush Apparel

Does anyone remember a fan, who made a series of 'Guinness' style RUSH shirts a few tours back?

I think they were custom and may have been for a European tour.

Not sure they were 'sanctioned' legal shirts by the band.

But those were awesome!

most of my Rush shirts are from their official site. my FBN shirt is from amazon, my CoS and Hemispheres tour shirt is from Hot Topic, my Geddy tanktop is from 81times.com, and my CA tour (not the one with the pink) is from the venue where I saw them. the ones from their website are great quality, but in terms of uniqueness, it's probably better to look at Amazon or eBay.

Where did you get that one in the bottom row of Geddy?

reading is knowledge.

Thanks but no thanks for being a smart ass.

Yep. That was surprisingly not very nice and out of character from what I have read before over the last year and a half... :sigh:

I'm glad I'm not the only one that thought that.

am i grounded.

I would love to order one of the Blah Blah Blah shirts. I need some help. I don't have a Facebook account (and never will) but my wife does. Does she need to log-in before I can email them with the request?

Thanks in advance and I know I might be one the the few who is not on Facebook, but it is not my thing.

I wasn't able to find an email address for Danforth & Pape (who doesn't have an email addy nowadays?!) so yeah, she will probably need to log in and send them a FB message.

Along with Narp's stellar bike Jersey, most everything I have picked up from Rush Backstage is good, heavy quality. I had one AFTK shirt that shrank into a funny shape after washing, but the rest have held up well. Also, like Narp, I only buy whatever I see on sale... but really only because I am cheap like that, not because I question the quality. Edited by WorkingAllTheTime

Amen to that. I wait for the tee's to go on sale for 9.99 typically and then I will buy 2 or 3 at a time if I even like them a little. All the expensive stuff I have like jerseys were gifts from my mother or other family members. My hoodie my son gave me for Christmas. Just can't justify spending a bunch of my own money on this stuff when bills need paid... :) Edited by Narpsberg

Hope this is okay in this section?

Been looking at some shirts and stuff at Rush.com Backstage and was wondering about the quality of the clothing?

My wife wants a new tee for the show and so do I. The R-40 tee to be exact.

Is the Backstage the only place to buy Rush apparel and how is the quality. I am willing to pay for good quality merchandise.

TIA

NEVER had a problem yet. Good quality stuff.

Unfortunately for me, I haven't really been liking anything since the 2013 Clockworks Angels line. Not much into the custom scene for the most part, unless they're outside of the venue. Don't think I have too many Rush shirts without tour dates except for polos..

Well since the Backstage Club is the official band merchandise site, it's the same quality (and the same STUFF) you get when they tour?!?! So if you like what you get when they wander through your town, then you'll like this stuff!

I remember buying all of the old original leftover from tour stuff from them WAY back! it was always the same quality as what the vendors were selling.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. My wife ordered each of us shirts yesterday. Supposed to take 2-3 weeks delivery.

I can safely say, that the oldest shirt I have (2010) that still fits, has survived countless washes, and rush concerts with only one tiny hole (easily sew-able if I cared enough) in one of the arm pit seams. That shirt is a power windows shirt, and the graphic after all these years looks practically the same. I only wear it to concerts now though, because I am always getting new shirts, so I have kind of a rotation going on, not in a fashion sense, but I keep finding funny shirts I like.

Rockin' the olive Caress of Steel today. (ebay find)

Backstage stuff is "official" and top quality as others have said...

I like searching Amazon for some unusual items offered by different vendors.

My daughter got me the COS tee shirt from Hot Topic some years ago. I just noticed it was made by Hanes. Cheap and very thin. I think thats what got me thinking about this. Edited by John V
