  1. 1. Which song is the best one?

What would any TRF afternoon be without a new Zumbi poll? :laughing guy: I'd join you Zumbi, but I am fresh out of poll material. No weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth now everyone! ;) ;)

Anyway, I love them both, but I have to go with Limelight.

This one's really tough. I really love the solo and end of Freewill, but overall I think Limelight is the more cleverly crafted song. Have to go with Limelight.

can you throw in the big wheel or something to make this easier?

You like "The Big Wheel" that much? ;)

damn, I was still in "least favorite" mode from all the recent polls

I fixed the original

love both but I think Limelight is the most perfect Rush song ever made. The bass and drums and guitar are perfect...the guitar solo is perfect...the lyrics are amazing....Geddy's vocals are perfect.... there is zero flaw in this song. Flawless lyrics, music, guitar solo, vocals.

Both are wonderful, but Limelight is my all time favorite. I love Alex's guitar playing on it and his solo. The opening riff goes through my head at odd times and always cheers me up for some reason (duh, because it's Rush!)

I like Freewill better, I enjoy the music more and can relate to the lyrics more.

Yeah...I will choose Freewill as well. A little more edgy break.

Both are great tracks.

Both are outstanding, and I love both of them nearly equally. But Freewill has the edge, for the greater interplay among all three band members during the guitar solo.

(Really, it's all three of them soloing together, isn't it?) :)
