More material from Counterparts

As much as LTTA is a killer live track, they played it on the Time Machine Tour. I think it's time for them to pull out a song from that album that they haven't played live in awhile or at all. Would love to hear either Cut To The Chase, Between The Sun And Moon, Cold Fire, or Animate live. Ged admits that he likes CTTC in a recent interview with RS so I hope he can convince the band to pull it out on the upcoming tour.

Yes for sure. Hoping -- and expecting -- Cut to the Chase to be in the setlist. It also fits into the "rare never played" spot. Id also like to hear Animate, but think it will fall off cause they played it on R30. CTTC will be the CP representation imo. Edited by greg2112

I hope they at least play Cut To The Chase.

I'll take anything from the album, but I would prefer Cut To The Chase and Nobody's Hero. LTTA has been played enough recently. Animate and Cold Fire would be good choices as well.

Wouldn't mind more Counterparts stuff. Leave That Thing Alone, Nobody's Hero, (unlikely) Cut to the Chase…(very unlikely) Everyday Glory…

If it isn't Stick It Out or LTTA, it's like they want no part of it. Shame, I love Counterparts.

Nothing from this album, please. It has the weakest best song of any album. Not even sure what could be considered the best song on this album.

I wouldn't call Leave That Thing Alone weak.

No no no..........no......no

No.

Seriously and honestly. I just don't like this record. Even animate Which i do like on record...........live it brings the proceedings to a grinding halt for some reason.

I've just listened to this for the first time a few nights ago, and I'm not sure what to feel about it. Unlike Roll The Bones, all the tracks do seem to leave their own mark and the record is nicely heavy, but much of it just seems to be somewhere between good and great, but not much more. I feel like I should like it a ton, but it hasn't moved me very much.

Then again, I felt the same way about Hemispheres on first listen and it ended up growing on me a lot.

As for the question, I think I'd like to hear "Nobody's Hero" (this one DID move me) or one of the first three.

Great songs from CP

Animate

Cut To The Chase

Alien Shore

Double Agent

Leave That Thing Alone

Cold Fire

Everyday Glory

I would really like to hear one never played live before in Alien Shore or Cut To The Chase and either Animate (which I thought rocked on R30 with the new arrangement and quicker pace) or Double Agent as a second tune from this record. I don't think we will ever have a snowball of a chance to hear Everyday Glory live.

Ooh, all this talk of Double Agent makes me want to go give it a listen right now. I'll have to go to YouTube for the View from the Palace version. Awesome!
