Bunch of chancers who stole Hanoi Rocks rightful place after Razzle died!

No way but Turbine is HUGE Michael Monroe fan!!!!

He's tried to get me into his solo stuff. No can do but I too love Hanoi Rocks.

Hey that's Axl's name for himself.

Mick

doesn't he live in his mom's basement now?

LOL!

He must have made a killing on that contract he signed at The Joint in Vegas. I am not sure how many shows they performed but it was a shitload.

Hell I even dragged my wife to see one of those shows. It was the next day after Rush played at the MGM Grand.

I figured hey why not do a double shot of rock and roll. Rush and GNR.

Well like I said after "Rocket Queen" they did all of this Chinese Democracy shit. Some songs Axl didn't even sing on so Wendy and I split!

I will say the place was packed but memory tells me that that was the last show of the contract.

Like a fool I had to pick up GNR LIVE AT THE JOINT on bluray. I watched it last night. Their drummer sucks. He's big and bad and could kick my ass but he sucks on the drums!.

Oh well. Axl sucks too. He should just retire.

Actually I will tell you that my best friend's brother bought a house in Malibu back in the early 90's. You won't believe who his neighbors are. Axl Rose and Pam Anderson with the two boys. He would Axl and Tommy together all the time.

To be honest I think Axl still has the house. Pam still lives their too with the boys.

My buddy's brother just bought a house in Tahoe. Guess who lives on the same street as him? David Coverdale baby! Whitesnake!

Eagerly awaiting your topic on Whitesnake's 1987 being a top ten hard rock album of all time Earl. *wink wink

I liked the album when it came out. As ReGorLa Troy said, you had to be there. GnR gave rock music the shot in the arm it really needed at the time. I didn't pay much attention to them after the first album.

Yeah, still like Rocket Queen, very loud !!!

I voted for the "Hell Yes" option but I really wish their had been a third option "Yes, it was great when it came out, and might still be great but it has been so overplayed through the years that I don't really enjoy it anymore". Sort of a blend of the 1'st 2 options. I would have voted for that option.

Loved it when it first came out however and listed to it a ton. Its just not really aged well (mostly due to the overplaying of the big hits on the radio).

I get what you are saying but man I still love the album. The only track I skip is "Paradise City." It's such a great record to play to on the drums.

Perhaps that's why I love it so much!

I think the album withstands the test of time, but the two "Use Your Illusion" albums are crap.

Use Your Illusion I is 90% filler, but I actually really like UYI II. Estranged is my favorite GNR song and just one of my favorite songs in general. Let's not talk about My World though.

UYI I has some fantastic stuff though. Dust N Bones, Bad Obsession, Bad Apples, November Rain, Coma and Live and Let Die are all really great tunes.

Coma is a great riff. I like that one. It's fun to play along to as well.
