Ancient Ways
As a resident of Florida I'm baffled by Burger King being especially associated with our state. We should be known for HOOTERS. started right down the road in Clearwater Florida. I know it's not fast food but outback also started here in Tampa.
troutman
Interesting, Great Alaska Pizza Company is pretty good. The only reason for Alaska's choice would be the prices. There are far better places but more expensive.

When we leave immediate Bay Area we like sanibel island, Orlando, st Augustine, and new Smyrna area the most
jefeltner11
In Corpus everyone is literally obsessed with Whataburger. Basically, it's not a restaraunt unless it's Whataburger or Denny's to kids down here. I cut them some slack because it started here, but it honestly isn't that much greater than a lot of other fast food joints like Chik-Fil-A or Popeye's in my opinion. lerxt1990
Auntie Anne's? That's gotta be cause it was founded here, not cause it's big here. In fact, in Philly that's not even considered a real pretzel. Edited May 30, 2014 by lerxt1990

Maverick
Virginia, the birthplace of Five Guys! :haz: i have never tried it, Heard great things about the place. Hopefully I will get a chance at some point. I've been going there since they only had two locations. I never made it to the original, but I know that at least two of the original Five have cooked my burgers.

Thats a Texas chain, there are more DQs than burger kings down here DQ is headquartered in MN.So is Old Country Buffet. DQ>>>>OCB I did some research, down here every single DQ is franchised, which means other than logos and blizzards, they are different. Some DQs I have gone to are excellent, including burgers. Others not so much. Food wise, Whataburger > DQ. DQ is still pretty dang good
