goose
ewwwwwwwww lolI can feel the sugar coating my teeth as I read thisI once sent some to my sister's family in Germany. My niece and nephew hated them. Dry, inedible bites of sawdust crust followed by a mouthful of excessively sugary goo. In other words, pure heaven. Mara
I used to cut the outer crust off my Tarts when I was a kid; I only wanted to eat the frosted jelly-filled part. Sometimes I still break chunks of the outer crust off and feed them to the dogs. This thrills them to no end.
Bluefunk
I've never had pop tarts. :( Doesn't the frosting make a mess of your toaster?
Narps
I've never had pop tarts. :( Doesn't the frosting make a mess of your toaster? It doesn't. The frosting is as hard as cement and I am not sure what it's melting point is but it must be really high. You ready to try one now?.... :D-13:
Babycat
If I recall correctly the naked tarts were all that was available at one time back in the day. The frosted one's and all the crazy ass flavors came much later. Old School please..... :) I've never seen naked tarts... Oh wait.....

Mara
Anybody else who would rather die early than eat like a rabbit? No question about it. Life is too short to spend it reading labels and fussing over whether something is organic. I pretty much have to eat as my condition (ulcerative colitis) dictates, meaning lots of meat and cheese and no raw "scratchy" vegetables. Fortunately meat and cheese is a diet I'd have chosen for myself. And I can eat Pop Tarts. :) Edited January 13, 2014 by Mara
