England's draw with Ukraine today means 4 teams in group H still have a chance to go to Brazil...England, Montenegro, Ukraine and Poland. See you in October for the deciders.

I feel strange about totally forgetting about this thread after the CL final in May.. I'm back. :D

Borussia-Arsenal tomorrow.

This year feels alot like "The Untouchables" year for the Gunners. Unbelievable run in the Premier League (so far), but not anything special in the CL (again, so far) and poor showings in the domestic cups. Honestly, I'm fine with it that way. I'd take a Premier League title over anything else at the moment. Anything to end the trophy drought. Maybe this is the year. I don't see them doing much in the CL, and we all know how they like to completely fail in the FA Cup. If they were to get out of the CL group stage, which I can't decide if they will or not, they won't go past the round of 8. Of course, this is all my opinion. It just seems similar to the 2003-2004 side, results wise.

Don't you just hate International weekends? No regular 1st or 2nd Division football across the European leagues. Still it shines the light on the lower leagues, but it's not the same.

Well, it's exciting for the nations involved in World Cup playoffs. How about France going down 2-0 in the Ukraine. :P

So what is everyone´s expectations with the upcoming World Cup? I´m concerned with the possibility of protests, as tensions continue to grow in Brazil. And it´s an election year, with our president and state government being largely criticized, not least of all due to hosting the WC AND the Summer Olympics of 2016 in a country where health care and education are falling apart, public transport has reached an all-time low, and security is constantly at risk.

All of that doesn't stop the U.S. from hosting events. ;)

Have Liverpool blowin' it? We can only hope so.

I was hoping they were going to win the English league, as they have played the better footie all season, but then their supporters were giving it big over the Easter weekend.

"It's our's" and "It's coming home", then the killer "We only need to beat Chelsea". Well they f**ked that up today and they still need to play the not so mighty Magpies. Oh it would be so nice to beat them on the last day of the season to deprive them of the title.

I'll wake up in a moment.

Man City have won it today, and deservedly so IMO.

City came back admirably during the second half of the season and fully deserve to be champs, agreed. They have a fantastic manager as well. I would've ultimately loved Liverpool to have done it but it was so close and that fateful slip from SG was all it took. Better luck next season guys.
