Looking forward to this movie. Looks like they might actually have a decent adaptation of the book. Right now the biggest selling point is that Harisson Ford's sidekick is (real name) Han Soto.

Something is wrong with Harrison Ford. Has he had a stroke? For the past few years...his facial expression never changes, he has this bordering-on-slurring monotone...something is just off with him.

Well....he is 71 years old. Definitely not a spring chicken anymore....

Didn't know he was 71 but he's been this way for a while, at least it seems to me.

Mediocre at best. Might've actually been worse than I remember thinking it would be when I saw the trailer a few years back. Never read the book. Don't believe the premise of this kid being this smart, being that good a fighter or being such a tactically intuitive commander. Not sure if the book makes this aspect of the story any more believable.

I want to read the book. I have no interest in the film.

Same goes for Cloud Atlas, a book I love but not a movie I am sure I want to see.

The book was very good. I read it back when it first came out and it was quite unique. Lots of copycats since.

I love eighties sci-fi/fantasy. When I do get around to it, I am sure I will enjoy it.
