  5. I didn’t have this many gray hairs before I moved to Arkansas
  6. Nothing better than getting stoned, making some good food, and watching some baseball.
  7. I finally have a way to watch Dodger baseball again!!! It keeps me sane!
  8. I mean I was already planning on giving it a listen this weekend, but name checking Back To December as a reference? *Now* I’m interested, lol.
  9. Love the "DALLAS! STARS! post-goal crowd chant, one of the best in the League.
  10. Found out yesterday I may have Afib and/or cardiac arrythmia. Cardiologist has me scheduled for a bunch of tests through May, including echocardiogram and stress tests. He also put me on Eliquis, which does not have a generic equivalent, at $650 for a 90 day supply. Onward through the fog, people.

  13. Today
  14. Just saw this now. Thanks guys! How do I stop the number from going up further? 30 is comfortable. I don't need to go any higher please. My back only slightly hurts
  15. I like when albums begin with something punchy, then run through the gears, changing tempos and pacing, creating dynamism with a sense of ebb and flow, building to something summative and maybe a little melancholy (the album is over, after all). My all-time favorite album closer is Pink Floyd's "High Hopes," but the rest of that album doesn't have enough variation to really be a good example. I do think Clockwork Angels works well, but what can top . . .
  16. That new Lacuna Coil track is pretty bland. Even more than Never Dawn. Even with help from another band the song isn't much. The new Within Temptation single is much better. At least the chorus has a hook.
  17. This new album has no clear pop singles, it's very morose and honest and it's like...you know Back To December, where she looks within and sees mistakes she's made? It's that vibe. It's reminding me of solo Phil Collins, with a subtle return of guitars at times and the drumming sounds live and dynamic. It sounds like an album she needed to me rather than HEY, HERE ARE MORE BANGERS. I don't know if this will sell as well as previous works but it could be her Tunnel Of Love.
  18. Does anyone think the management company has gotten the message about that shitshow release yet? Do they read these threads?
  19. Often overlooked behind Duane & Gregg, Dickey was a real driving force within the band. A great songwriter and a fine guitarist. RIP Ramblin' Man
  20. Pearl Jam- Dark Matter And just like that, Pearl Jam delivers the goods. Don't mind if I do... Are my top two albums from two of my top three artists/bands both out today? Lacuna Coil- new single, has a title, not sure it matters Didn't like it. Bored.
  21. Taylor Swift- The Tortured Poets Department And just like that, you have my album of the year.
