  1. There is nothing to settle. The Crown of Canada is at the top. The rest of the music world is underneath.
  2. I still think Neil is pretty damn hot after all these years. If he has unfortunately aged a little more than Alex and Geddy, there is a good reason for that and everyone knows what it is.

  5. QUOTE (liddybuck01 @ Dec 14 2008, 07:07 AM) i hope you realize how lucky you are to have grown up with Rush. i would kill to have been around for each new album release as some as you were, and to go to each tour that went with it. i honestly can't imagine what it would've been like opening a brand new Rush album and putting it on for the first time to hear what they came up with this time. paying, what, about $10 to go see them play a show, which we now know were some of their best. i just can't fathom how awesome it must've been. being only 21(22 in like, 3 days!) and just becoming a fan, sadly, right after S&A was released, i've not experinced that Rush rush yet. i saw them in June but i'm sure it's no comparison to what they were doing 30 years ago. so i just wanted to say that and hope that you appreciate being old! i wish i had a Delorian... I can't say that I appreciate being old. Well sort of that dreaded middle age. 42. It sucks being single though, one thing that is longed for is the real soul mate that I would connect with, but thats not what you are talking about. I was 14 in 1980 and I remember going out to buy Permanent Waves. I had actually been introduced to RUSH music 4 years previous but being only 10 and a sometimes typical kid running through the house screaming out song lyrics I was not paying full attention yet. Then MTV in the beginning when it actually played music, and the time Exit Stage Left played. I remember laying on the floor in front of an old console TV watching it and thinking how cool the guys were and how much I liked them and how much I was attracted to them. My first RUSH concert for the Powerwindows Tour. All the Circus magazines with RUSH stories in them. Radio stations that actually played them, and not just the 3 main songs that are played now. I was actually growing up at the end of a good era, so yes I am happy for all those memories and many more that are too long and drawn out for me to type up. If you want to, just live in your own world of the past the way I do. It makes me happy and I feel better and smile about the "FUN OLD DAYS"

Nuh-uh. My spot. *Shoves GG off the sofa to reclaim her territory.* I was here first. I'm sure Neil wouldn't want us fighting over him...wouldn't he say, "Girls, girls...there's plenty of me to go around" ? I think he would say: "Sorry girls, I am a married man"! Of course I respect that, but It does not stop my thoughts from a great fantsey.

QUOTE (edgyspice @ Nov 25 2008, 03:51 PM) QUOTE (rnrgal @ Nov 25 2008, 11:42 AM) posting this one again, just cuz http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u102/rushnroll/anatgallery.jpg I have a sudden urge to sprawl on the floor with him. If he was not married I would not only stay after class, I would go lay right next to him on the floor and.......................................................... I think everyone gets that picture
  8. I LOVE IT, ALWAYS HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL. I WANT TO HEAR THEM PLAY HERE AGAIN.
  9. QUOTE (GhostGirl @ Nov 3 2008, 10:01 AM) I know from reading Neil's books that he was surprised and bewildered when he was told that he is a "hottie." I think he probably blushes a bit if he reads this stuff, and then maybe his chest puffs out just the teeniest bit for the rest of the day. I think Geddy would have a cute confused look, Alex would smile, and Neil would pull the blanket over his head. LOL
