    Boxset differences

UPDATE The reason I didn't include the RUSH (self titled), 2112, and A Farewell To Kings boxsets - completely new covers were used, and only colors were changed for self titled. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19WQPVOTaXy95qcBsMSxMAapyzQbEdLr1/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/19X4cQ4sZ2ujDBwdHT_qPcca32_XokNiX/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/19XpJJ7AlVZhkReYiUAXkwmoJZYGHIM1r/view?usp=sharing Regards

    Boxset differences

There are some subtle differences with the album covers for Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, and Moving Pictures 2015 releases and the 40th anniversary editions. https://drive.google.com/file/d/19CLw-YdWhZ0VGFSHpUxBOQdO_nrK20yV/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/19F1ZYTJ5yyIg8jaka11vA-umUacbHo38/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/19Eiica86_CNd94Iz3BQMkZTicomAxBH3/view?usp=sharing Regards

    Icon vinyl

In 2010 Rush released Icon on CD only. Concert favorite compilation. I really had no interest in it at the time. Last year it was decided to release Icon on vinyl. One particular version caught my eye - Canada only translucent with splatter. Copies in closest record shop were bought up by the time I had gotten there. All versions I found online (Amazon & Discog) were going for $75 at first, and as time went by $100 plus. But I lucked out and found a copy for a reasonable $60. As always, Rush does great job with all their vinyl releases. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1aJJtzcax2cSu6G70UqzZFE_v49benC7C/view?usp=drivesdk Regards
  6. Would love to see some Rush Music collections. Picture (Google Drive link) of my Rush collection. Cassette and 8 Track tapes were the medium that took the beating in my youth. Took better care of my music in early 80s when started to purchase CDs (yes they're in white cases - thought would look better - was wrong). Do own all recording post Terry Brown (Signals 1982). But these recording are the ones proud of. https://drive.google...iew?usp=sharing Love to see what the Rush Forum users are hiding. Regards

    Where did you start?

A sample of Canada Gold below. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2nsI524ulU Edward Bear founding member Paul Weldon designed the 1974 RUSH debut album cover. On a side note, Edward Bear was the opening act for Led Zeppelin at The Rock Pile venue in Toronto on August 18, 1969. Geddy and Alex were both in the audience at the above mentioned Led Zeppelin concert. Mind is blown.
  8. Where did I first hear Rush? Was it the Rush self titled album? No no, that's not it. Oh, it must had been Fly By Night? Nope. 1975 K-tel "Canada Gold" Album. Yup. Eleven years old, purchased to hear my favorite song - Last Song by Edward Bear. But soon tired of that and started listening to other songs on the record. "In The Mood" by Rush. Rush? They named themselves using a verb? Suffice to say - I was hooked. Love to hear some members introduction into the word of Rush. Bonus - Favorite album - All the World's a Stage. Regards
  9. With Feb 12 2021 fast approaching - I haven't come across any information for a MP 40th. Already did a search here (therushforum), and also checked the bands website & E-shop, Amazon (CA & COM), and of course a Google / DuckDuckGo search. I'm curious (as is everyone) to find any information. Regards
  10. Got a text about Rush today - from a gentleman who is NOT a Rush fan. He really has no opinion on the band, just wanted to share a link. The text conversation: https://www.dropbox....H_TEXT.jpg?dl=0 The links that were sent. https://www.reddit.c...l_pearts_death/ Regards
  11. Ah, consumerism. Let us patiently wait for the next great Rush idea. Rush suppositories? Or maybe a Rush fast food restaurant? "I'll order a Quarter Pound YYZ - with extra pickles, with a side order 2112s". "Art is only as good as next useless piece of crap to purchase". A quote from absolutely no one.
  12. Left the follow review for Rush: The Making of A Farewell to Kings: The Graphic Novel https://www.amazon.ca/dp/1970047127/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_IeCVFbCRZ2QE5 My poor Rush Good grief. Said once, and I'll keep saying it. Rush has taken another step to completely commercializing what's left of the band. This is not the band I grew up with. Gene Simmons would be proud. Terry Brown produced only. Let the hate begin.
  13. Left my opinion (feedback) on Amazon.CA product page. A Rush Coloring book? The guys have taken the next step to completely commercializing the band. Gene Simmons would be proud. https://www.amazon.ca/RUSH-Coloring-Book-David-Calcano/dp/1970047003/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 I guess Geddy need more baseball memorabilia.
