  1. Lol imagine if someone said this back in the 70's or even 80's? "Can anyone point me to the direction of a good quality copy of Rush's new album?" "Uhh......*points to record store* ? Think about how many albums were chanced on back when the internet didnt exist. The only way to know whether something is good or not, is by radio or a friend showing you the album etc. Nobody is going to give you free handouts. Buy the album or GTFO.
  2. Tabs are the hack musicians learning tool. Learn by ear like a real player.
  3. QUOTE (Babycat @ Jul 7 2012, 12:34 AM) Curiousity - what is 'pool vacuuming'? Also curious.
  4. QUOTE (greyfriar @ Jul 6 2012, 10:32 AM) QUOTE (UltimoGuitarist @ Jul 6 2012, 12:48 AM) Got er framed and everything. Only 500 of these are being made so get on it if you want one. I got #14. http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-prn1/553142_10151885795665416_1411175649_n.jpg Looks great framed. I'm still hesitating, my girl friend is going to kill me if I keep on decorating the house with Rush stuff. That's why you get a girlfriend that likes Rush as much as you do, like mine. *set for life*
  5. Here in ontario all the radio stations are playing headlong flight like its the only rush song that exists.
  6. http://www.brandwatch.com/wp-content/uploads/brandwatch/troll.jpg woahhhhhh seven cities of golllllllld
  7. Yeah that looks like the guy that wrote seven cities of gold ^
  8. QUOTE (Sin City @ Jul 6 2012, 01:39 AM) Would have purchased this but the rush logo is waaaaay too big for my taste and spoils it. Shame really. Dumbest excuse for not buying rush memorabilia *RARE* rush memorabilia, i've ever heard. You're a shame.
  9. My old man saw them in '78 with Max Webster opening in Kingston Ontario. Just some random small venue. They played just about all of A Farewell to Kings. I'll dig up the setlist. EDIT: Here it is... Bastille Day Lakeside Park By-Tor and the Snow Dog (abbreviated)-> Xanadu A Farewell to Kings Something For Nothing Cygnus X-1 Anthem (dropped from 12/10/77, 2/17 & 2/23/78 shows) Closer To The Heart 2112 (minus Oracle) Working Man Fly by Night In The Mood Drum Solo Encore: Cinderella Man
  10. Well the snakes and arrows one was even more plain. It was just grey with a farewell to kings skull randomly on it and the tour dates. Had nothing to do with the tour. Clockwork Angels is a steampunk theme, that means dull shades of green textures. That's the intent.

  12. Mannnn everywhere I go on this forum someone is fighting with Trenken. The man is a f***ing dynasty at information and knowledge. The fact that people disagree with him, misunderstand him, and fight with him, tells me we have a lot of losers on our hands at this place. Stop being fan boys and learn to accept the truth about certain things. It's getting old, except not fine wine old like Rush, night of living dead rot old.
  13. I've got 4 for the first toronto show and 4 for the second toronto show. Haven't decided which 4 I want to keep yet.
