  1. i agree but man could the guy sing a song. Mick
  2. my uncle saw him in concert. he performed the entire show with his back to the audience. lol. and not once spoke to the crowd. Fuccked off after 60 minutes too AND....acording to my uncle. no brown eyed Girl. What a douche. Mick
  3. yea. his voice has remained mostly the same decades later. so the pitch correction had me confused. Did he blow a take that bad? if so he could do it again, lol Mick
  4. there's pitch correcting on there for sure. and i'm pretty sure triggered drums too. yea honestly this wasn't my fav effort. Like Gigaton way more. Mick
  5. or Neurotica Rush has some shit songs. let's not pretend here, lol Mick
  6. yea after the early 90's i wouldn't even bother. i mean he can but it's no new ideas AT ALL, lol BUT boy do i love theose early albums. Mick
  7. Joni Mitchell Court and Spark (10/10) Hejira (10/10) after Taylor Back to Joni. two of my fav albums of the 70's both Dealing with love and the end of relationships and the rigors of the road. so Tay in the 70's People act like Tay is the only person EVER to write this stuff, lol Mick
  8. i can't lie i played the first half way more. not a slight against patt 2. but the OG album just connects with me in a deep deep way. Mick
  9. i had hilarious moment abut a decade ago. i initially loved the garden (one of the few i liked on CA) then one day i'm playing it. As it's playing my brain just goes. "this song kinda sucks!!!!!!" never looked back, lol Mick
  10. Taylor Swift. The new album has re-kindled my love for her. it's dividing folks big time but i think it's her most matured layered album yet. Folks are saying there's no bangers. here's my thing. i don't need Bangers. i come from singer/songwriters where a majority of songs are thoughtful deep sad songs, lol so this album clicked with me right off. "oh i need to sit with this!" Not me, lol i'm glad she made this. Mick
  11. I saw one youtube comment that literally said. i don't know why every album is different. Stick to a lane bitch. THAT WAS LITERALLY THE COMMENT!!!!! i'm like why are you a fan if not to watch someone grow? Mick
  12. Taylor Swift-The Tortured Poets Department. i didn't post my thoughts yesterday so. She's since released extra tracks to this. but it's like a different album. So i'll do that seperate this is for the main album released yesterday at midnight. For Context before i start. Swift and i have a rocky road. I'm a fan but she's released stuff i'd call utter poo poo. and stuff i ADORE. 2023's midnights was a struggle for me. after she released the Acoustic Folklore/Evermore in pandemic only too follow that up with.....IN MY VIEW.....that's important.....MY VIEW a far inferior collection of beat dropping whining. Do i still hate it? no but it's at the bottom of my pile. So what i was was terrified of this album. BUT what i was greeted with was a surprise. It is is a breakup album. but what is here is a somber reflective swift. Less cutting then past breakup songs and more sad and a bit defeated but there is also an undercurrent of i think maybe i'll be fine in there. It was a shockingly mature take for a woman who normally lyrically castrates her exes. Now musically. it iust feels more organic than her past pop albums. Live drums and pianos and acoustic and electric guitars are all throughout. the Main albums Sound is steeped in 80's post rock. keyboarded drenched and beautifully layered. I get a huge Phil Collins vibe in NUMEROUS tracks. To me this album is one of her most mature albums to date and i couldn't be happier. Cause a lot of fans may not agree but she was close to stagnating if not there already. she said she she needed to make this. and i can't help but feel.....on SOME level.....she felt the rot setting in as well. this is a stellar album. Mick
  13. your list man......bonkers in that......red that low? Lover last? sigh...ok Mick
