It looks like the movie will have massive Rush references... http://www.shmoop.co...27-summary.html is a spoiler, but it will clear how massive ;)
Good to hear! I'm skipping the link choosing to be surprised.
And pass up on the chance to see Geddy Lee nekkid? Let's just say there's a big surprise coming your way.
Probably not all that big (unless you're talking about his nose, but we've all seen that).

If you weren't 13 in 1980-1985, not sure the books resonates.

I played Tomb of Horrors, Tempest, and every video game in the book -- with QUARTERS.

Just like Rush is the soundtrack to my life, the book is about a massive video game in a future dystopia. The game represents the fondest memories of my youth.

Like listening to people who weren't even born in 1977 talk about what Star Wars should and shouldn't be... it's not your movie.
My god you're such an obnoxious elitist

Don't be surprised if the only Rush contained in the movie is some character wearing a t-shirt along with the use of Tom Sawyer in the trailer.  Based on the trailer, it looks like they're going to replace most of the book's pop-culture references with things that are Warner Bros. specific.  I'm certainly not expecting the book's Rush references to remain.

I don't think it's looking good for the movie so far.  I loved the book although it's only appeal is the nostalgia, it's no literary masterpiece by any means.

The trailer for the film has dropped. I was worried the band was not involved. A little more than halfway through a smile came across my face.

No lactation John. No lactation.

Gotta say, every time I think TS has been overplayed, I hear it again and it reminds me it is the number one, flawless, kick ass song of all time.

My wife saw a preview of the film on tv and they mentioned TS by Rush playing. She said whats this all about. So for the next day i bored her silly with extracts from the book, the lyrics from 2112,a spin of the cd and even brought Disney Theaters The Astonishing into the picture. All she could say was are they and myself on drugs.Hold Your Fire is her bag.No Hemispheres or Necromancers for her.

Last I saw was a trailer with an all Van Halen sound.

Off topic: Im pissed that the film takes place in Columbus OH...the story takes place in OKC, OK. #NotMyReadyPlayerOne
