Akron Ohio native,after battle with leukemia at the age of 74. Golden State all star and was instrumental latter in his career playing with the Cavaliers during the 1976 Miracle at Richfield season getting Cleveland to the Eastern Conference finals against Boston which the Celtics won in six. His number 42 is retired with the Warriors & Cavs

I can remember him playing. I think he played center for Golden State. Solid old school player may he rest in peace.

Yep. He was traded to the Bulls for Clifford Ray in 1974 the season before the Warriors won the Championship. However his number did get retired and he is still seen as a legend for the franchise.
